Well to be fair Svino, in terms of constructed languages, Esperanto is far and away the reigning king and it's estimated that 99% of people who speak another conlang can speak Esperanto also because that's where they started.

Plus, the shit has survived for over a hundred years and still has a very vibrant community.

In any case, I started learning the shit recently so y'all can both fuck off.

Nah, I'm still busting the Spanish, but I found a free downloadable Esperanto course that's like 12 lessons and after you finish it you should have a basic ability to read and write in the language (and presumably speak if you have someone to practice with). I even got a free tutor with it.

So I figured I'd take 12 days to focus on Esperanto, doing a lesson a day (which doesn't sound like much but each lesson takes me 2 to 4 hours to really get a handle on), and then I'll put Spanish back as the top priority when I'm done with the course.

Gulf Shores. Taking the kids and splitting a condo with some friends. Doing the family vacation thing. Should be a good time, the drive is going to suck though. We tried to find the closest beach... it is still 9 hours in the car with a 4 yr old and 2yr old though. We invested in some dvd montitors for the back of the seats. We'll see how it goes.
