I think greater opportunities will increase awareness and inspire more people to start training or, if they're already training, aspire to go pro.
Many casual fans who would be a good fit for flyweight and have wanted to do MMA but who aren't even aware that they have a division because they don't see it in the UFC will now pursue that path, and amateurs who haven't felt like being the Tachi Palace champion is worth the hard life of an MMA pro will reconsider.
Basically, I think it may take some time, but we'll see an influx of talent because of this.
