This is why I bet Munoz. I think Maia might have a hard time getting Munoz down. But then again he tossed SOnnen like a ragdoll.

I will be doing my standard bet on Maia. And to get him at -110, that's awesome. That said, I think it is a close fight that could go either way. I actually think Munoz is really good. But Maia is Maia and he will get it done.

Alot of the guys that accept the fights with these bjj stars are wrestlers that think they can force a stand up fight. Roger has fought 5 wrestlers trying to force a standup fight and nothing else (I honestly don't think anyone else will fight him) because of the inevitability of the submission. Maia has fought almost all primarly wrestlers too with the exception of Grove, Marquart, Silva, McDonald. Other than that, he fought Jensen, Herman, Miranda, Sonnen, Miller- they all had the same game plan, and they all failed. Munoz has the advantage of being a wrestler and also heavy handed. But he has the disadvantage of not having very good takedown defense for a wrestler of his pedigree. He is great at scrambling to his feet after getting taken down, but Maia is going to take him down and lock him up in the first round.
