Yeah, I looked into it. He is a blackbelt under Pablo Popovitch, got some regional grappling titles. Not a world class guy or anything bet definitely good, better than Cerrone. I really don't think Cerrone's grappling is that good. He has a dangerous triangle... but that's really it. His takedown defense is pretty good though. He will probably blow the Rocha guy away, but I am not willing to go against him when I think he has a clear advantage in one area. I stay away from favorites where the dog has a clear edge in an area. That said, I don't know what his takedowns are like or his standup. He may not have the ability to get it down.

Yes. Beltran will probably turn this into an ugly brawl and win. Beltran has a way better camp. Rosa is still working (I think full time), is only training part time, and he is a fat HW that used to fight at LHW. I think a lot of this will be spent against the cage.

Pass. He hasn't fought in 5 years and hasn't competed in bjj (as far as I know) in 8 years. The bet to make on that fight is that it doesn't go the distance. I have no idea what Einemo is going to look like... he could be a beast or he could just get his head taken off. My guess is he gasses out in round 2 and gets KOd.

I think he has the potential to beat just about any heavyweight just based on his ADCC win alone, but without having seen him fight, it is pure guesswork. If he was fighting someone less imposing physically, I would consider it, but Herman is a big experienced guy that packs a lot of power.

Dave Herman has a shit gas tank as well. If it is competitive in round 1, I think Herman will gas bad. I don't think Herman should be -250 at all

I thought Brock might take it before because of his wrestling but I don't think Carwin is quite as good at that. Carwin has dropped to about 250 pounds though so we might see something new from him. I wouldn't be suprised to see him win.

I don't think Carwin is as good at offensive wrestling as Brock, actually getting takedowns. But yeah, I could see this going either way. I really hope JDS just obliterates that steroid cheat though...
