hmmmmm. this is likely to go the distance. I wouldn't be suprised to see Hendo try to use his wrestling to win a decision. I think he can take Fedor down if he really tries at it.

Fedor has great T3D and when he does get taken down he is usually good about getting back up or reversing position.

As for it going the distance, I guess maybe. But out of 31 wins Fedor has 24 finishes. Then again, Dan has never been KOd (though he does have 3 submission losses).

Are we going to pretend that Fedor is the same kind of grappler that Shields is? Are we going to pretend that all of a sudden Fedor is a takedown wizard who has made a career out of taking guys down and controlling them? He is a very good grappler but he's not a Jake Shields type grappler who looks to just position himself and go for something if it's blatantly there. He likes to create space and take something he puts there. Henderson has however made a career out of landing that right hand on guys who are better strikers than him. He has proven he can put away just about anyone in the world with it if he has to.

I do think Hendo can neutralize the sambo of Fedor with his greco. We saw Matt Lindland ragdoll Fedor before that grabbing of the ropes manuever and I think Hendo can do the same thing. Also, I think it's fair to say it is very possible there is a doctor stoppage here. Fedor cuts fairly easily and that could be something to think on.

Fedor has gotten taken down a lot in his career. I do think that he is good at avoiding the takedown though. He is also a master of sports in Judo + the bigger stronger guy. Hendo should actually be weighing about 206 pounds, Fedor about 220-230 or so. I actually agree with Dana White on this, Fedor is fighting a middleweight here. Dan is good though. I just have to wonder if Dan can manage to win 2 rounds with his wrestling. All it would take is two solid takedowns. Dan is an olympic wrestler. Tough to call. I wish the line was even.

I think there is a good chance Smith/Saff goes to decision.

I think if Woodley wins, it will almost certainly be via decision. But Daley could very well win by KO. Since I think Woodley is going to win, I think it goes to decision.

But there are no props yet on those fights are there?
