if you watch the shogun/lil nog fight video from pride he actually outstrikes shogun pretty clearly IIRC. Shogun only wins because he keeps taking nog down. I think his wrestling weakness is pretty much gone now.

Yeah, he has credential and history. But recently, he really went about even, maybe getting slightly better of the exchanges with 3 wrestlers with limited striking. Maybe that was because he was worried about getting taken down... but his hands have not looked that good since KOing Cane.

what does everyone think of Pierce/Hendricks? Close one IMO. Pierce took a round off Fitch. Looking back though, Fitch has always had trouble with any kind of good wrestler.. Diego almost beat him. George beat him. Pierce got a round....Hendricks has the better wrestling pedigree and more tko/ko's.

Thoughts on Jorge Rivera/Sakara?
