Why tie up money on such a low returning bet when you could turn over that amount on many more bets? Losing one bet could completely wipe out a years worth of growth. You could risk 1600 on many -200 favorites and return way more then 80 dollars, and if you lost one bet you wouldn't be out of all that time growing your bank roll.

The only way Hardy submits Lytle is if Lytle blows out his knee and before the Ref notices Hardy manages to rip the leg off.

well Im not saying the bet isn't positive expected value. However I think the bet is negative expected growth.

If Mike Tyson fights Zach Galifinakis in a boxing match today, would you lay 1600 to win 80? cause aside from tyson injuring himself during the bout, he wont lose. And aside from lytle tapping to strikes, he wont get subbed.

If an undefeated Mike Tyson was fighting a bum named Buster Douglas I bet you would have been one of the ones to lay 3200 to win 80 on that lock of the year.

I don't care what any one does because its not my money,I'm just saying I'd never lay that kind of money to win so little.

Way to take it out of context. How bout an mma reference then. Would you of layed 1600 to win 80 on james toney to not sub randy couture? Don't get me wrong, although i cant foresee hardy ever subbing lytle, I wouldnt be able to risk that much of my bankroll on a return of such little money.

guys, how come the listed limit on bmaker is $500 but if i bet winelind/benavediz over 2.5, they will only let me make a $25 max bet?

probably because the odds are new. a book may have a lower limit on new lines until money comes in and moves the line. Once the line settles, then the limits are raised.
