I don't like the round system at all. Marshall won the "fight." I wish they would just look at the whole thing and pick a winner.

Probably not a 10-8, but it's just gay that Vera still "won." Literally all the damage in that fight came from Marshall. It was 2 rounds of Vera stalling Marshall out and then 1 round of Vera getting dominated both in the striking and grappling.

Vera is definitely going to hold the LHW and HW titles.

btw, I don't think the 3rd round was 10-8 like a lot of people.

That's what he said in an interview with Helwani the other day. He was listing out guys that could potentially beat Jones and he was like, "Machida, Rashad, and myself" or something along those lines.

Then again, he also said that he was going to "punch Marshall in the face until he stops moving," which as we know wasn't exactly the case.

Also, bol @ Mitrione. I mean, Mitrione is not a better fighter than some of the smaller guys that get paid nothing, but he is one of the UFC's better HW's... HWs generally make more money... 10k? that is terrible.

I'm always surprised at how little Nelson is making. I know he went through TUF and all but I'm still surprised he didn't have a better deal negotiated.

Well he didn't look gassed when he was going back to his stool. So why would he be gassed after a minute's rest?

Obviously he DID gas out, at least eventually. But he looked like a different fighter from the end of the first round to the beginning of the second.

It has something to do with weltwerweight. Maybe he doesn't train as hard so that he can maintain enough mass for the division. Or maybe the extra mass just using up too many resources. I don't know.
