I just think he has the style to beat AJ and can win a decision. If he doesn't stand there and get into exchanges with AJ and works hard to bring him down/brings him down I think he can win it. Brenneman showed great wrestling defense (which he turned into offense with reversals) against Story so if AJ tries to take him down and hold him like he did against Hardy I am not sure if it would work. I also don't think AJ has that great of conditioning so a guy like Brenneman should wear him down. Also, I personally almost always am willing to bet on a good wrestler at + odds.

Yeah but Cruz is really really REALLY elusive, and I don't think it takes long to find out which one is the more effective striker here. Mouse doesn't have the wrestling advantage, so he's more or less going to have to play Cruz' game and thats bad news for the black Vern Troyer.

Yeah. He's sorta elusive. He does get hit though. His movements seem planned in advance and not reactive, seems like you could time him. However, I think the most underrated part of his game is if you get in close, his kneetap is fantastic and he has great timing with it. Similar to GSP.

Regardless of anything else, I just think MM will be too small to dominate any area of the fight.

The size advantage Cruz has will play a huge role imo. MM should be fighting at flyweight. Cruz will be able to hold MM down most likely (sort of like Pickett did) and should win all the battles in the clinch against the cage due to his size.
