There are quite a few fights that end in round 4 but only a few that have ever ended in the fifth.

    Penn / Sanchez
    Couture / Rodriguez
    Sonnen / Silva

    And then (this is crazy):
    Santiago / Misaki 1
    Santiago / Misaki 2

I don't know much about Sass other than he likes to triangle guys. I know he had to pull guard in his first UFc fight, I don't think that will work on a strong wrestler like Johnson. BUt Johnson is not that good standing, so I don't know. Johnson will probably win, but I really haven't seen enough of the other parts of Sass's game to form an opinion.

I like Brenneman here, especially at the +170 he was. I am still going to take him though.

Agree that Wiman's line is off.

Does anyone NOT think that Barry is going to KO struve easily?
yeah my gut tells me he is going to kill that kid. Struves only chance is to get it to the ground and sub him. He has no chance standing. I just wonder if his big as arms and legs can get him in close enough to grab pat and get him down. i dont think he can though. Pat is pretty stout and looked decent in his last fght in the td departmen.t Also a big tall lanky guy like that should have trouble getting someone pat barrys build down. I should have hit his line up sooner, it was good before. Also yeah Danzig is pretty crafty. Brennaman/ johnson i dont know about. No bet, Brennamen is a good wrestler but Johnson is a beasty mofo. the title matchup: hard to call. I thought mighty mouse had a chance for a while but i dont know if he has the standup. I havent seen ehough of him standing to know. Dominic is tailer made to beat wrestlers. he beat faber and benavidez twice. That is pretty damn impressive.Maybe johson can latch on to the td's an get dom down more than them but i doubt it. That is a lot of work for a 5 rounder. Nobody has been able to hold dom down so far and Faber/Bena have had pretty good/decent standup games. Jphnson is a little stong black man though. I wouldnt be suprised to see him get dom down. I just don't think he can hold him down.

Maybe I am missing something, but I think Barry is going to take his head off his shoulders. I seriously doubt struve can get him down after Beltran couldn't do it. Not like Struve is known for his takedown prowess.

I like Wiman, but think the line should be closer to even, maybe slight edge to Wiman.

I am starting to think that MM is dead. I thought he might get some takedowns too originally, but if Benevidez couldn't do it, why is MM going to? Still not betting it at that line though.

AJ is a beast, but I still like Brenneman at +odds.

Anybody have thoughts on Roller/Grant? Might parlay Johnson and Roller.

I kind of like grant in that one, along with sass. Grant should be better in all areas and roller's wrestling doesnt translate well.

I would like Sass if they started the fight on the ground. You really think he can get it there?

Someone find some Sandoval and Watson fights. I remember Sandoval almost losing to a guy on a Shark fights card. The guy had like 2 fights under his belt yet he still had sandovals back and almost beat him. Watson is 8-2 with 7 subs.

Sass has an uncanny ability to pull guard. Its not the same bullshit flop most jj guys use, he sets it up by shooting like a wrestler and usually gets pretty deep on the shot, then while the opponent is still defending the shot, he wraps up his guard and usually has a hold of the opponents upper body as well. once he has the opponent in his guard, the opponent is constantly on the defensive. Plus Michael Johnson has a history of getting subbed.

^^ all I know is that he is another old UFC washout.

Did anyone know that Barry left Duke Roufus and is a permanent member of DeathClutch now? Konrad is cornering Barry saturday... either Barry is getting serious about his takedown defense, or he wants to be a fat wrestler.

I'll have to do more research on Neer's opponent. Might be an easy win for Neer.

As for Barry, his T3D is underrated. It's not like he goes down easily.

yeah but if he had any kind of ground game at all Kongo wouldn't have gotten up and killed him.

I like the move, I don't think he needs to work his kickboxing. It is like these wrestlers going to AKA- work on your weaknesses. That is one thing I have never liked about Barry. He has been a pro-fighter how ling now? Years... he should be pretty good on the ground by now.
