Happy New Years. We are not off to a good start in 2013 as we were hammered earlier, but I tell it like it is and you can't win every single game. I am the only handicapper that will admit this. Wisconsin +6 over Stanford
If you can get the money line play this at +190. Stanford just does not have the receivers to win this game. Wisconsin has two good running backs that will run well behind this big over powering offensive line. This is another game that features awesome linebackers. Stanford will be without their starting nose tackle today and I think that is a big blow for them on defense. I think the wrong team is favored here and think Wisconsin is the more talented team on both sides of the ball. The Big Ten is just a much better conference this year and I think it will show today. Take the Badgers.

A lot of people feel NIU does not belong in this game, but guess what they played their schedule won the games they had to win and here they are. Florida State is a much better team, but I have seen this team go into a shell and let teams hang around. I personally think that NIU QB Jordan Lynch is awesome for the level he has been playing at, but now every single person on FSU is much faster than him. The Northern Illinois Offensive Line is young and had about 2 combined starts coming into this year. I just do not think these players are talented enough to pick up the blitz packages and the physicality of the guys on this Florida State Defensive Line. I don’t care if Payton Manning is playing QB without protection there has never been a QB in history that has done well. I think this NIU Defense gets overlooked because of Lynch. They would not be in this game without their defense. FSU lost their top running back a few weeks ago and always has injuries on the offensive line. I think this total is set a little high. Take the Under.
