Heat at Nets: What Bettors Need to Know

Miami Heat at Brooklyn Nets (+2, 189.5)

The Miami Heat don't have much to improve upon as they enter the second half of their season - but they'd love to be better on the road. The Heat will look to improve their record away from Miami as they visit the Brooklyn Nets in a Wednesday showdown between two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. Miami is coming off a 100-98 double-overtime loss in Boston that dropped the Heat to 10-10 on the road. The Nets halted a two-game skid with a 97-77 win over Orlando on Monday.

While Miami aims to improve its fortunes on the road, the Nets will take any victory it can get against the powerhouse Heat. Brooklyn has dropped 12 consecutive games against Miami and has been outscored by 43 points in the first two meetings this season. Wednesday represents the start of a pivotal three-game stretch for the Nets, who will host the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers on the back end of the four-game homestand.
