4-Unit Play. #529. Take California +7.5 over Syracuse (Saturday @ 9:40pm est).
At this stage, even the smallest things matter. When the Pac-12 was slighted on national television openly with the seating of Oregon at 12 and California at 12, it goes a lot to say that this conference was not respected. What does that Pac do? They simply roll over Oklahoma State as Oregon dominates them from start to finish and California also takes care of UNLV in the process as well. Mike Montgomery's team gets ready to play Syracuse and without a doubt they will be up for this game. Catching 7.5 points on a total of 124 is certainly useful as well especially with Syracuse coming off a huge win over Montana and getting out their frustration from the tough loss to Louisville in the Championship game. Now, I wonder how much this team will get up to play the 12th seed in Cal? Yes, Syracuse won 81-34 over Montana, but then again, you have a California team that is top 50 in defense, won its last 7 of 8 conference games and beat the likes of Colorado, Oregon twice, UCLA, Arizona and the list goes on. This is also the last game on the board which helps out the underdog theory yet as the public is on Syracuse especially after that huge win over Montana. Cal undoubtedly so that game and they will likely provide much more resistance than Montana which is a shame because Weber State would have provided a great contest to Syracuse but they were upset by Montana in their conference tournament. The Golden Bears of Cal are well coached and are 6-0 ATS when facing teams with a winning percentage of greater than 60% and with Syracuse off the huge win and now facing a good defensive Cal team in a low scoring contest, I like the points here as well as the fact its a public fade.

A nice call on Detroit +15.5 Yesterday for a sharp winner despite the Heat being on a big Winning streak as Detroit was coming off the 40 point loss. Let's pick up another winner today.
5-Unit Play. #506. Take Chicago Bulls -3.5 over Indiana Pacers (Saturday @ 8:05pm est).
Good spot here for the Bulls as they have lost to the Pacers a total of three times this year and look to avoid losing for the fourth straight time. I suspect that this team will show some heart today at home after they were blown out by the Blazers for all intense purposes on their home floor and it was almost as if the Blazers felt bad for them and let them come back to lose respectably by 10 points on their home floor. The Bulls come off back to back losses including the 1 point loss to Denver and now a blowout loss to the Blazers, this is a big bounce-back opportunity plus a revenge game for them. I would not be surprised to see the Bulls step up in a big way at home today and avoid losing to the Pacers for the 4th straight time this year and avoid losing their 3rd straight game overall. Remember, the Pacers were without David West those two previous blowout wins over Orlando and Milwaukee as it had to do with this team coming together on the heels of that injury. But as they come off a huge win over Milwaukee at home covering the 8 points, this is likely a let down spot and a good spot for the Bulls to step up and pick up the win at home.

Nice call on Columbus in a 5-1 rout yesterday over Calgary. We are 4-1-1 over our last 6 selections. Let's pick up a another win today: 4-Unit Play. #57. Florida Panthers +175 over New Jersey (Saturday @ 7:05 pm est)This is the first meeting between the clubs at Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey since their dramatic seven-game showdown in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals last spring won by New Jersey (4-3). The Panthers jumped (22) points, nine places and (12) seeds in the Eastern Conference, made the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2000, and won the only division title in franchise history last season. ?Panther Nation? was excited coming into this season but injuries have sprung up to often. New Jersey coach Peter DeBoer was let go by Florida a year ago and he reminded them about it in the postseason. The Devils are (0-5) in their last (5) Saturday games, (2-7) in their last (9) games playing on (1) days rest and just (4-10) in their last (14) overall. South Florida Black Cats surprise the Devils at the ?Rock?. This is a great public fade to boot as well and with Florida playing well beating Carolina 4-1 on the road and the Rangers 3-1 on the road both as +153 and +219 underdogs, I would not be surprised to see the Panthers do well here on the road once again. New Jersey beat this team 2-3 in overtime in their final meeting and this is a big revenge opportunity for the Panthers.
