Short and sweet in our analysis for game 7. Before the series we played Miami -215 to beat San Antonio because the Heat had value after struggling against Chicago and Indiana. But after watching the first six games of this series, it's clear to us that San Antonio is equal or better than the defending champs. Miami took advantage of a weaker Eastern Conference to pad their record while San Antonio was able to rest their aging players.
Many will talk about the way the Spurs lost the last game as a reason to play against San Antonio here. It was a devastating loss in a game they lead virtually wire to wire. But keep in mind that this is a veteran team who knows how to win on the road. Miami on the other hand laid it all on the line and still were very lucky to gain the win. San Antonio has outscored the Heat in this series with both teams playing three games apiece at home. The Spurs do not deserve to be this size underdog in this contest.
