Brad Wilton Your Sunday Winner... Sunday winner is a 150 Dime relcase on the Baltimore Ravens as the road favoqrite as they play against the Cleveland Browns. 5-Star Tennessee at St Louis OVER 39.5 - The Rams went all out on defense last week in a HUGE Monday night divisional match-up vs the Seahawks. They were one yard away from the big upset, but they fell just short. Their defense should be compromised here and the Titans should be able to take full advantage.
Tennessee is coming off their bye and their offense was struggling in the weeks prior. This is keeping the total low for this one, giving us plenty of line value. The Titans, however, are 6-0 OU when they scored fewer points than expected in each of their last two games, going over by an average of 12.6 ppg.
Also Tennessee qualifies for the system, "NFL teams are 26-4 OU on the road when they play at home in each of the next two weeks."
The Rams sacked Wilson SEVEN times last week, and some may cite this as a reason to play the under, but the SDQL text tells us that St Louis is 11-0 OU at home after a game in which they sacked the opposing quarterback at least 4 times.
Also, since the start of the 2012 season, the Rams are 6-0 OU when hosting a non-divisional opponent, going over by an average of 9.4 ppg.
team=Rams and H and NDIV and season>=2012
The league as a whole is 15-0 OU the week after a divisional Monday Night game, as long as they did not lose by more than two TDs. The SDQL text is: p:day=Monday and pIV and p:margin>-14 and NB and date>=20111120
This system is 5-0 OU THIS season and every game went over by more than a TD.
There is strong evidence that when a team saves their best effort for a divisional foe, they often cannot sustain the defensive intensity level the following week.
Finally, we find that the Rams are 10-0 OU dog to a team that is at least 200 on the season and off their bye week. The SDQL text is:
team=Rams and D and op:week + 2=week and o:WP>=20 and season>=2002
Yes, Clemens started slow last week, but he had an excellent second half and he was facing what is thought by many to be the best pass defense in the entire league.
We're going to make a bold prediction that this will be over this number after three-quarters.
