I'll take the Ducks and the points in this matchup. Oregon is the best team in the Pac-12. They
are 13-2-2 ATS in their last 17 games and have been one of the best bets in college basketball.
Oregon has lost three straight to the Buffs so they are looking for revenge. Colorado is 0-2 ATS in
its last two games and struggled with Oregon State on Thursday. They were fortunate to win
that game. Oregon has more talent and coach Dana Altman knows how to get the best out of it.
This one looks like an outright winner to me.
3-Unit Play. Take #816 Minnesota (-7.5) over Purdue (2:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 5)
I like the Gophers to get the job done in this one. This team has a whole new system. They have
a new coach in Richard Pitino and this team likes to press and play uptempo. I don't think that
Purdue is going to be ready for the new Minnesota. The Boilermakers are coming off a
disappointing game against Ohio State at home. I don't think they are ready to go out and get a
road win in league play. The home team is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings and I like the Gophers
to get the job done in this one.Comment

I just think the Ramblers are a bit over their heads this season in the competitive Missouri Valley
after switching over from the Horizon a season ago. Loyola lost to by 12 to Indiana State in their
conference opener and get another tough test in the form of Missouri State. They don't have the
talent to compete in this league, and the Bears will send them to a second straight league loss
here. At 11-2, these Bears have lost to Louisville and Virginia. Loyola is not in that same class.
