    Kevin's Pick(s):
The Nationals used some late runs to beat the Rockies and cover the run line for us cashing another 5 Star pick. That was my 4th straight 5 STAR Winner, and I'm coming right back with another 5 Star this afternoon in Minnesota. Note that it is an early game.
5 UNIT = Cleveland Indians @ Minnesota Twins - INDIANS TO WIN (-125) *EARLY AFTERNOON GAME*
    Listed Pitchers: Bauer vs SWARZAK
(Note: I'm risking 5.00 units to win 4.00 units)
The Indians won last night by a score of 8-2. They've now split the first two games with the Twins winning the first of the series 4-3 on Monday night. Cleveland has won 5 of their last 7 games , allowing 3 or fewer runs in those five wins. The Twins are just 1-4 over their last 5 games scoring just 12 runs over that span (2.4 runs per game). This afternoon's starter for Cleveland will be Trevor Bauer who is 4-4 on the year with a 3.89 ERA, .272 OBA and 1.40 WHIP over his 13 starts. Over his last three starts he has been great posting a 2-0 record (the team is 3-0) with a 2.29 ERA and striking out 21 vs just 6 walks given up. Minnesota will get a spot start from Anthony Swarzak as Kyle Gibson has been scratched and he has started a ball game since 2012. In relief this year Swarzak is 1-0 with a 4.34 ERA, .265 OBA and 1.36 WHIP. The last time he started in 2012 he made 5 starts that year and went 0-5 with a 8.10 ERA, .354 OBA and 1.80 WHIP. Take note that the Indians are 4-0 in their last 4 games vs a right handed starter, 6-2 in their last 8 road games, 8-3 in their last 11 divisional games, and 4-0 in Bauer's last 4 starts. The Twins are just 1-5 in their last 6 home games, 26-60 in their last 86 home games vs a team with a winning record, and 2-5 in their last 7 games vs a right handed starter. Dating back to when Swarzak was a starter they are just 3-11 in his last 14 home starts and 0-5 in his last 5 starts overall. Cleveland is 4-1 in these two teams last 5 meetings overall, and they are a solid 7-1 in their last 8 meetings in Minnesota. I really like how Bauer has been pitching lately, and with Cleveland playing pretty good baseball right now I like them at -125 as a 5 Star.
    Kyle's Pick(s)
2 UNIT = Kansas City Royals @ Chicago White Sox - UNDER 7.5 RUNS (-115)
    Listed Pitchers: Shields vs. Quintana
(Note: I'm risking 2.00 units to win 1.74 units)
Wainwright looked like he was still on break last night, getting hit hard in the 5th inning en route to an easy win for the Rays. Early afternoon action for us on Wednesday which I am going to try to take advantage of.
This will be another season in which the Indians, White Sox, and Royals play out for 2nd in the AL Central. The Tigers should ultimately run away with the crown again. Outside of Detroit there isn't any offense that can compete with them. James Shields and Jose Quintana have identical stats of late. Both pitched 19.2 innings their last three starts, and they both have the same ERA of 2.29. The UNDER was 5-1 in those games. The Royals have had a heck of a time trying to hit left-handed pitching, most notably recently where they are hitting only .194 against them the past ten games. Whereas the White Sox are hitting .321 against lefties, but just .239 against right-handers. Quintana has allowed less runners to reach base, 0.71 WHIP, but Shields hasn't been far behind with a 1.02. Quintana has given up only 5 runs in his last four starts. The UNDER has cashed 6-1 in the Royals last seven games. Likewise, the White Sox UNDER went 5-1 their last six. A 2 unit play for me on the UNDER 7.5 Wednesday afternoon in

New York Liberty @LA Sparks Wed. 10:35PM EST 7/23

LA SPARKS Team Total OVER 80 [email]-110@5dimes

after 2 bad (unlucky) picks in a row its time to make some back, I really like this Team Total on the LA Sparks

i dont like the big spread on the Sparks as they are too inconsistent,8.5 is a big spread, I am sure the coaching change will have impact, Carol Ross made a lot of coaching errors lately and was not really appreciated by the players, Vice president Penny Toler will take over the team till the end of the season

The New York Liberty themselves struggle mighty this season ,their last road game at San Antonio was a mess, I am sure that the Sparks can manage to shoot over 80 tonight, the last game between those two teams was a clear win from the Sparks at New York, there are no injurys reported, that means Nneka Ogwumike is fit,the New York Liberty are simply a big disapointmnet this season, the LA Sparks will be motivated for sure with the new coach and cant afford to lose another one in the play off race, Sparks will get this done tonight, I am just not sure about the high spread, thats why i decided to go with the TT 80 looks reasonable to me

                  JASON SHARPE (MLB)

8 Unit Play Take #917 Boston -105 over Toronto (7:05pm est):

Everything lines up for one side here in this one. Boston comes in playing much better baseball of late and are making one last gasp effort at a playoff run. They’ve won eight of their last ten games while averaging six runs per contest. The biggest key in this play lies with tonight’s starter Clay Buchholz. It’s been an up and down stretch for Buchholz in the past year but he’s looked like the pitcher of old since returning from the disabled list five starts back. His control has been top notch as he’s posted a 26 strikeouts to just 1 walk and has a solid 3.28 ERA in those games. His velocity has surged higher and at times he looks the guy who put up an unreal 1.74 ERA just last season.

The Blue Jays counter here with R.A Dickey against the Red Sox offense. Dickey has been pitching better of late but overall he’s been nothing special since coming to the American League last season. The long ball has killed him this season and though he’s seen better results over the past month, he’s still allowing a very high number of balls hit into the air. Dickey has seen a slight dip in his knuckleball velocity also and when it’s under a certain speed he usually gets hit pretty hard. Toronto had been near the top of the American League East for most of this season but have since cooled off going just 6-14 in their last 20 games. A lot of that has to do with the loss of a few key hitters being out of the Blue Jays lineup currently due to injuries. Toronto’s batting order from 4-9 doesn’t look nearly as imposing these days.

Add it all up and we have a hot pitcher versus a cold pitcher and a healthy team playing very well of late versus an injured one that’s been struggling. Take Boston here.

                        Red Sox at Blue Jays

                        Red Sox -103

The Red Sox had their five game winning streak stopped last night but have still managed to win eight of their last 10 games. Clay Buchholz (5-5, 5.46 ERA) has had difficulties this season but the Sox are 24-11 in his last 35 starts and 41-18 in his last 59 road starts as Boston has managed to give him plenty of support. Maybe that's why Boston opened a small favorite in Vegas or it's because Toronto starter R.A. Dickey (7-10, 3.95) has lost six of this last seven starts. Add that the Blue Jays are just 5-16 when posted as an underdog gives us out side.

4-Unit Play. Take #930 St. Louis (-115) over Tampa Bay (7 p.m., Wednesday, July 23)
The Cardinals were beat up last night by the Rays. I think they come right back today and even this series up. The Rays are just 3-8 in their last 11 interleague games and 3-8 when they play in an N.L. park. This team is hot. But Alex Cobb has been hit or miss. The Cardinals are going with Lance Lynn and he is 16-4 when he starts at home against a team below .500. Lynn is 23-9 as a home favorite and is 52-24 when the total in his games are set at 8.5 or below. Lynn has been a great bet. I think he will continue to be a strong wager today. Take the Cardinals to even the series up.

                                2-Unit Play. Take #905 San Francisco (-140) over Philadelphia (7 p.m., Wednesday, July 23)
I think San Francisco will get the sweep. They had a great come back last night and blew out the Phillies in extra innings. The Giants are heating up right now. They have won five of six games after the break and they have beaten the Phillies four straight times. Madison Bumgarner is one of the best lefties in the business and has won four of five road starts. The Phillies struggle against left-handed pitching and they are just 7-20 at home against a team that is over .500. A.J. Burnett takes the mound and he has lost four of five starts. I don’t think he will top Bumgarner today. I like San Francisco
