Handicapping The NBA Injury Report Monday 4-6-15! 11-0 100% last 11 TRIPLE Basketball picks!
HANDICAPPING THE NBA INJURY REPORT - Monday 4-6-15
Every day I look at the NBA injury report. I start off with the first team and see who is listed on the report. These are the average number of points these teams will be without tonight.
HERE IS MY TABLE FOR CALCULATING INJURIES:
OUT: Take players average points per game and multiply by 1 DOUBTFUL: Take players average points per game and multiply by .75 QUESTIONABLE: Take players average points per game and multiply by .50 PROBABLE: Take players average points per game and multiply by .25
Here are the results for today’s NBA matchups for Monday 4-6-15! Beside the team you will find the calculated Rocketman Injury Rating. The Higher the Injury rating means the more points per game they will be without.
Portland (62.3)
Brooklyn (20.5)
Hope this helps out some. This system hits big percentages when we have a differential of 20 or more and the trends add up to leaning to that same team. It takes a little time to do this every day but it pays off in the end! No plays for Monday fit the 20 point differential and the trend analysis I use.
The Saturday Edge
NCAA Championship Game – April 6th, 2015
By Brandon Fine (NCAA Tournament: 17-4)
We have arrived at the end of another great college basketball season. Saturday night featured one of the best Final Four games of all time, with Wisconsin stunning the world with an upset win over Kentucky (although I did predict it), and it also showed Duke put on a dominant display to advance to Coach K’s 9th title game. Posting a 17-4 mark in the tournament and riding a 15 game win streak into tonight, I have made my pick for the National Championship.
Duke (+1) vs. Wisconsin: Honestly, this was a pretty difficult decision. Both of these teams have incredible offensive ratings, with Wisconsin leading the country in adjusted offensive efficiency, while Duke ranked 3rd in that category. In a head to head earlier in the season, Duke beat Wisconsin 80-70, and while both of these teams have gotten better throughout the year, it is interesting to note the Badger who performed the best in that game was Traveon Jackson, who was injured shortly after and has not had a good NCAA tournament thus far. The problem in that game for Wisconsin was defense, allowing Duke to shoot 65% from the field. Throughout the tournament, Duke has been one of the best defensive teams, allowing just 55.0 PPG to its opponents, while Wisconsin has mainly relied on their offense to advance. Duke matches up well defensively with the Badgers, and as great as the post battle will be between Okafor and Kaminsky, I think the best match up to watch tonight will be Justise Winslow vs. Sam Dekker. Dekker has been arguably the best player for Wisconsin in the past couple of games, while Winslow has been a lock down defender and most likely the best offensive player for the Blue Devils as well. Neither of these teams get into foul trouble, a tribute to the excellent coaching by Bo Ryan and Mike Krzyzewski, and that will be a huge part of tonight’s game because the best players will be able to remain on the floor. There is a reason this game was released as a Pick’Em, and will most likely close at a 1 or 1.5 point spread, and that is due to the fact that these teams are so incredibly even. The advantage that I see for Duke tonight is on the sideline, and while Coach K is 0-3 all time in title games against #1 seeds, I think someone has probably informed him of that fact and that will add enough motivation for him to bring home a championship for Duke in what I firmly believe to be one of the best National Championships of the decade.
Free picks on a 21-6 tear and tonight we again turn to major league baseball!! Our MLB handicapper Frank Drake has made a $100 bettor $19,195 over the last four seasons and its just $1500 to get Frank’s selections through the All Star Game or $2500 through the World Series in October. Call 1-877-332-0077 to get in in on the action. Went against the Cubs for your FREE WINNER yesterday and tonight we back the underrated Indians and their terrific young pitcher Corey Kluber to spoil the Astros home opener. Houston will continue to be a go against team in 2015 so why not jump in against them at the beginning of the season when the odds are so good? Take the Tribe.
3 Unit Play Take #604 ‘under’ 204.5 Portland/Brooklyn (7:05pm est):
Portland is expected to sit a handful of key guys here in this one, they’re 3rd game in the last four days overall. Usually when a team sits a couple of top players like the Blazers will be doing here, you will see a drop off in scoring as the replacements usually aren’t as talented offensively but will bring more effort on the defensive end of things.
Brooklyn needs a win here as the Nets are in the middle of the Eastern Conference playoff race at this time. They were hammered last time out allowing 131 points to Atlanta which means you can expect much more focus from them on the defensive end of things after such an embarrassing performance last game. The Nets seemed to have slowed things down pace wise to begin the month of April after last month’s increase in tempo.
Take the ‘under’ here in this contest. Looking for another big start to the MLB season this year after the past two huge April’s on the diamond where I won my followers over 8k in profits combined. Join me as it’s my top month of the year in any sport.
