This pick falls into one of my elite NFL systems and I actually love the fact Weeden is under center here Sunday otherwise Dallas would be 5.5 to 7 point favorites at home. There is exceptional value here and when ever a team has a significant injury in any sport the rest of the team always plays harder in the very next game. It is just the way professional athletes are wired, and the novice bettor thinks hey Romo is out I'm taking Atlanta meanwhile Weeden is a very capable QB and the rest of the team will rally around each other to ensure the victory. The Cowboys very strong defensively with opponents averaging 53 rypg and just 208.5 pypg against them this season. Offensively I look for the Cowboys to get their running game going Sunday behind a very good offensive line. Atlanta has allowed an average of 314 pypg this season so I expect Weeden to put up big numbers here Sunday. Grab the points with Dallas although you won't need them as they win this game outright Sunday.

This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and I have the Texans winning by 14+ points here at home Sunday. Houston is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after putting up less than 90 rushing yards in their previous game and the Bucs are just 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after covering the spread in their previous game. I expect this Texans defense to have their best game of the year Sunday as there is just too much talent for them to not gel after 2 bad weeks under their belt. When teams play as bad defensively as the Texans have, they almost always bounce back with a strong defensive showing, and what better way than against Jameis Winston. Play Houston -6.5 with confidence Sunday.

6 Unit Play. Take #482 Arizona -6.5 over San Francisco (4:05p.m., Sunday September 27)


Boy did the San Francisco 49ers look night & day last weekend as the Pittsburgh Steelers had no problem moving the ball on their defense. The Steelers scored 43 points against San Francisco and if Carson Palmer gets in a groove at home Sunday we should see the Cardinals have no problem winning at home. Arizona had no problem last Sunday winning on the road against Chicago and right now the Cardinals offense has been really good in their first two games. Carson Palmer is 15-4-1 ATS and 17-3 SU in his last 20 starts and when he is healthy he is dangerous and again if the 49ers defense don't put pressure on him early I see Arizona scoring at will at home Sunday late afternoon. Arizona is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games while the San Francisco 49ers are 1-5-1 ATS following a SU loss by 14 points or more.



4 Unit Play. Take #477 Indianapolis -3 over Tennessee (1:05p.m., Sunday September 27)


The Colts are coming off an embarrassing loss at home to the NY Jets and they lost that game because of bad turnovers. Look for Andrew Luck and the Colts offense to move the ball on the Tennessee defense and if Johnny Football moved the ball on the Titans what is Andrew Luck going to do. Titans QB Mariota was nothing like the QB we saw in Week #1 and if the Colts defense can put some pressure on him early I see the Titans falling at home against the Colts. The Colts are 18-4 ATS following a SU loss and the Cots are 18-8-1 ATS against AFC teams. The Titans are 3-16-2 ATS against AFC opponents and this trend cashes on Sunday.



3 Unit Play. Take #487 Denver -3 over Detroit (8:30p.m., Sunday September 27 NBC)


Ok so maybe the Broncos are not that bad but boy is this team a different Denver team in the past. The Broncos have the 2nd rank defense in the league and this defense will out play the Detroit Lions offense. Denver is coming off a big road win last Thursday in KC while the Lions lost on the road against division foe Minnesota. Defense outplays offense and right now this Denver 'D' is outstanding. Detroit is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games while Denver is 20-8 ATS against a team with a losing record.
