Maryland has dropped three in a row, getting pummeled by Wisconsin 38-13. The season showed such promise when it started with a win over Texas but has rapidly skidded downhill.

The Kansas football team is so horrible that Jayhawks fans are anxiously anticipating basketball season once again and would probably rather talk about the FBI's investigation of Adidas sponsored college hoops programs than talk about their God-forsaken football team. After getting spanked 43-0 last week by TCU, the Jayhawks have been outscored 153-19 the last three weeks and have yet to look competitive against an FBS opponent. Kansas State's dominance over its in-state rival should continue and the Jayhawks jerseys are just what a team needs to see after dropping three straight Big 12 games.

Say this for KU. It's a record-setting bunch. The 21 yards of total offense the Jayhawks mustered against TCU is the lowest total in Big 12 history and the lowest in college football in 20 years. On the season, Kansas has scored 30 points per game, although that average is padded by gaudy totals recorded against overmatched opponents in the opening weeks.
