I like the Jazz here quite a bit tonight as I thought this line should have opened much higher. Yes, I know the Jazz are without Gobert, but the Nuggets have a big loss also without Millsap. Wilson Chandler for Denver is also questionable.
The Jazz are starting to play a little better as of late winning 3 of their last 4 games. The Nuggets the last 3 times they have won, have followed it up with 3 losses. Utah defends their home court here tonight

Iowa has had a slow start to their season to say the least, but for a team that was projected to be in the top half of the Big Ten this is a lot of points.
Has Virginia Tech really shown that much here to be laying nearly 10 against a power 5 opponent. Yes, they can score in bunches and Iowa's defense has been shaky I just think it's an over reaction against Iowa.
Nothing is official yet but it sounds like Iowa will get Nicholas Baer back who is a leader for this young team. There is no doubt they have missed his presence on both sides of the ball.
The Hokies toughest test so far IMO was Saint Louis, they were favored by 13 and lose that game SU by 6 points.

I like the value here with the Rebels laying single-digits at home against the Jackrabbits. South Dakota State is a good team and have a big time playmaker in Mike Daum, but I just don't see them putting a scare into Ole Miss on the road. The big reason we are seeing the Rebels not favored by more is they come in having failed to cover 4 straight games. As well as the fact that South Dakota State enters having won 3 straight, including an upset win over Iowa as a 7.5-point dog on a neutral court.
The big key here is Ole Miss has the backcourt talent to keep Daum and the Jackrabbits in check, while also scoring at will on the offensive side of the ball. The Rebels are led by senior Deandre Burnett and junior Terrance Davis, who have combined to average 33.2 ppg and both are shooting over 40% from long-distance.
Another advantage here for the Rebels is they are the more rested team, as they haven't played since last Wednesday. South Dakota State also played last Wednesday, as well as two days ago at home against Dakota State. This will be their 3rd game in a week and the Jackrabbits are just 1-8 ATS in this spot over the last 2 seasons. We also see that the Rebels are a good team to back after a bad stretch against the number, as they are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games when they come in having failed to cover 3 or more games in a row. Take Ole Miss!

Weird start and weird year for the Cavaliers, who have shrugged off an atrocious beginning and re-established themselves as mob bosses in the East. Eight straight wins – some blowouts, some tight games – have breathed life into the franchise. For nearly the first month of the year the Cavs were the worst defensive team in the league, but in three of the last four they have held opponents under 100 points. That included a wire-to-wire slapdown of the 76ers Monday night in which Cleveland outscored Philly in every quarter. There’s no reason to believe that the streak will end against the Heat despite the fact that Miami is on a mini three-game win spurt of its own. LeBron has that look in his eye again, and that’s not good for anyone not wearing a Cavs uniform.
