NBA | Wizards vs Celtics

The Boston Celtics are in desperate need of a win. They have lost four straight coming out of the All-Star Break against the likes of Milwaukee, Toronto, Portland and Chicago with three of those games on the road. Now they face a team they can handle here in the Wizards, who are 1-4 SU & 1-3-1 ATS in their last four games overall and pretty much out of the playoff chase at this point at 11 games under .500. The Wizards are 5-23 ATS in their last 28 road games against a team with a winning home record. The Celtics are 35-16 ATS in their last 51 home games. Boston is 10-1 ATS in its last 11 home meetings with Washington. Give me the Celtics.

NBA | Pelicans vs Suns
Play on: Pelicans -5 -105 at pinnacle
Jack’s Free Pick Friday: New Orleans Pelicans -5
The Phoenix Suns are now 12-50 on the season. They have been in tank mode for weeks. And they just aren’t any good when either T.J. Warren or Devin Booker is off the court. Well, they could be without both tonight as Warren is for sure out, while Booker is questionable.
The Suns are now 1-17 in their last 18 games overall. Booker leads the team with 24.6 points and 6.7 assists per game, while Warren is second in scoring at 18.0 points per game. Now they’re up against a Pelicans team that has owned them, going 7-0 SU & 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Each fo the last four wins have come by 9 points or more and by an average of 18 points per game.
The Pelicans continue to battle night in and night out despite the Anthony Davis minutes restrictions, and even when they were playing without him before. That’s evident by the fact that the Pelicans are now 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall. And they are fully healthy now for basically the first time all season.
Phoenix is 1-11 ATS in home games when the total is 230 or higher over the last two seasons. New Orleans is 15-3 ATS in its last 18 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400. The Suns are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games playing on three or more days’ rest. Phoenix is 0-6 ATS in its last six games off an ATS win. Bet the Pelicans Friday.
