NCAA-B | James Madison vs Drexel
Play on: Drexel -6 -108 at pinnacle

Drexel is coming off a trio of losses on the road to fall to 5-5 in the CAA and the Dragons return home for the first time since Jan. 18. They are now 1-9 on the road but 9-2 at home including four straight wins. They are outscoring opponents by nearly 10 ppg at home and the defense has led the way overall. Last season, Drexel held just three opponents to under 40 percent shooting in a game. This year, it has already held seven opponents to under 40 percent. The Dragons now have a 6-1 record when keeping teams under 40 percent and this is good news considering James Madison is shooting just 37.5 percent on the road. The Dukes are coming off a win over UNC-Wilmington on Saturday to snap a seven-game losing streak. They are just 3-7 on the road and James Madison is just 2-10 ATS this season as an underdog. NHL | Red Wings vs Sabres
Play on: Sabres -1½ +113 at pinnacle

The set-up: The Sabres enter hungry for a win here. Buffalo is 23-23-6-1 and 15-9-2-1 at home, but it comes in having lost four of its last five, including a humbling 6-1 defeat at home to Colorado last time out. But here's the perfect opponent to get untracked against, as Detroit enters having lost nine in a row. These teams met in mid January and the Sabres smashed the Wings 5-1 and with another tough game tomorrow night in Columbus, I believe Detroit is poised for another big letdown here this evening.
The pick: Additionally note that the Wings are just 2-7 in their last nine road games after back to back shut-out losses (1-0 to the Rangers and 3-0 to Philly), while Buffalo is 10-4 in its last 14 home games following a five goals or higher loss in its previous outing. With a game tomorrow night at the Rangers, I believe the Sabres risk life and limb today to try and get back into the winners circle. Consider the home side here.

This Thursday night’s college basketball betting board is highlighted by a pair of matchups in the Pac-12 featuring two of the conference’s three teams ranked in the latest AP Top 25.

The first game sends the California Golden Bears to Bolder to square off against the No. 24 Colorado Buffaloes. Later that night, the USC Trojans will be on the road for a matchup against the No. 23 Arizona Wildcats.

California Golden Bears at No. 24 Colorado Buffaloes
                    (Pac-12 Network, 8 p.m. ET)

Opening Odds: Colorado -17, Total 127.5

                    Betting Matchup

California recently earned a straight-up split against the state of Oregon on its home court by losing to the Ducks 77-72 ahead of Saturday’s tight 69-67 victory against Oregon State. The Golden Bears covered as underdogs in each game to improve to 5-2 against the spread over their last seven games. They are 4-4 SU in Pac-12 play and 10-11 SU (9-12 ATS) overall. The total went OVER in those last two games.

Cal’s leading scorer this season is Matt Bradley with 17.9 points per game. The sophomore guard has scored a combined 48 points in his last two starts.

Colorado is a half game in back of Oregon for the lead in the Pac-12 at 6-3 (SU and ATS). It followed up a 72-68 road loss to UCLA as a 4 ½-point favorite with Saturday’s 78-57 road rout of USC as a slight 1 ½-point underdog.
