MLB | A's vs Diamondbacks
Play on: A's -145 at betonline
Dave’s Tuesday Free Play:
1* on Oakland A’s -145 The Key: The Oakland A’s are 13-3 in their last 16 games overall with 2 of their 3 losses coming by a single run. They will be looking to bounce back from their 3-4 loss to Arizona in Game 1 of this series yesterday. I like their chances with their huge edge on the rubber tonight. Frankie Montas is 2-1 with a 1.57 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 4 starts this year for the A’s. Luke Weaver is 0-3 with an 11.86 ERA and 2.12 WHIP in 4 starts for the Diamondbacks, yielding 18 earned runs, 29 base runners and 7 homers in 13 2/3 innings. The A’s will tee off on Weaver while Montas shuts down the Diamondbacks. Take Oakland.

MLB | A's vs Diamondbacks
Play on: Diamondbacks +139 at 1BetVegas
908 Oakland at Arizona
Diamondbacks 7-4 at home this year and taking on Montas who has been pushed back a couple days. MLB pitchers are very habit prone and we have seen being thrown off your weekly schedule can cause problems. Montas has been very fortunate with the longball allowing zero home runs in 23 innings. Weaver hasn't been nearly as lucky as he has been lit up for 7 longballs in 13.2 innings of work. Plenty of value on the home dog here as we expect a solid bounce back from Weaver.

NBA | Thunder vs Rockets
Play on: Rockets +105 at pinnacle
Rockets +105
The main reason that the Rockets enter this game as the underdog is because of the absence of Russell Westbrook.
However, they still have the best scorer in the NBA with James Harden. He will be taking even more shots, and the threes will continue to flow.
The Thunder won't be able to score alongside them.
Take the Rockets.

MLB | Indians vs Pirates
Play on: Indians -180 at Mirage
Today's Free Pick - Cleveland Indians -180 Rating: 30* Rot: 913 Time: 7:05 PM EST Site (Opponent) : Away (Pirates) Starting Pitchers: Carrasco (CLE), Brubaker (PIT)
I'm not a big fan of laying a ton of juice in the MLB, but I've had a lot of teams I lay the -1.5 with end up winning by 1 run. I don't hate the Indians -1.5 (-120), but I'm laying the -180 on the money line.
There's a lot to be said about the Pirates that isn't already known. They have the worst record in baseball at 4-14. Only the Giants, Red Sox and Mariners have a worse run differential. They are 29th out of 30 teams in batting average (.211) and 26th in pitching with a 5.55 ERA.
Pittsburgh has allowed 5 or more runs in 8 of their last 9. They will have J.T. Brubaker on the mound. Brubaker made his MLB debut in his last start. He lasted just 3 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks.
If Cleveland can get to 5 runs, they should be good with Carlos Carrasco on the mound. Only thing that his plagued Carrasco early on (3.22 ERA) is walks. He has 9 free passes in his last two starts. Pirates are 29th in walks (only team below them is Cardinals, who have played 8 fewer games). Give me the Indians -180!

MLB | TAM vs NYY
Play on: UNDER 8½ -120
Tuesday MLB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Tampa Bay and New York at 7:05 pm et on Tuesday.
Rays ace Blake Snell is coming off a down year but has certainly rounded back into form through four starts this season. His strikeouts per nine innings are up while his walks are down. He's posted a 2.08 ERA and 1.15 WHIP and should be up to the challenge against the mighty Yankees on Tuesday night. Masahiro Tanaka gets the nod for the Yankees. He has recorded a 2.31 ERA and 1.11 WHIP. Like Snell, his strikeouts per nine innings are up compared to last season. He's giving up fewer hits and home runs as well. While this is a showdown between two of baseball's best offenses, I'm not anticipating a slugfest. Take the under (8*).
