Ligue 1 returns and while this is far from the sexiest matchup, I think there is decent value on the home side here. Dijon only lost twice last season in 14 home games including a 2-1 win over PSG while Angers was able to win just three matches away from home.

              Projected xG: Dijon 1.39 - 0.83 Angers

It's Game Three of the Pacers-Heat series with Miami looking to put a stranglehold on this best-of-seven and go up by a 3-0 count. Rather than get involved in a side, I see some nice Under trends both in the series and for both teams in general, so let's play this Indiana-Miami game to hold Under the total.

Both games contested this week have held Under the total to put the Under series run to 4 in a row - and each of those 4 have come this month in Florida! - while the Under is 6-2 overall when these teams jump ball.

Indiana has held Low in each of their last 5 games and in 7 of their last 9 overall, while Miami has gone 4-1 Under the total for their last 5 games.

Another interesting stat is the fact Nate McMillan's team has played each of their last 9 day games - which this happens to be - Under the total!

Stay with the totals trends and look Under in Game Three.

                  4* INDIANA-MIAMI UNDER

                    Stephen DeAngelo

NBA freebie this Saturday is the Bucks to grab the buck$ as the double-digit favorite in their game against the Orlando Magic.

Safe to say the "wake up bell" rang loud and clear after the # 8 seeded and injury-depleted (Gordon, Bamba, Carter-Williams and Isaac) Orlando Magic pulled a Game 1 stunner over the # 1 seeded Milwaukee Bucks, 122-110 on Tuesday, as the Bucks came out on a mission on Thursday and restored order in their 111-96 victory.

Milwaukee dominated the regular season series meetings as they won all 4 of the meetings and covered in 3 of the 4 regular season wins. Milwaukee's margin of victory was 17 points and they came pretty close to that average margin of victory on Thursday when they won by 15 points.

Overall, the Bucks are now 9-3 the past 12 times they have faced the Magic and are 8-3-1 against the spread.

Milwaukee was the league's highest-scoring team at almost 119 points per game during the regular season and they have yet to hit that average in the first 2 games. Also consider that Milwaukee led the league in defensive efficiency with 102.5 points allowed per 100 possessions.

After allowing 122 in Game 1, you saw the Bucks defense put the clamp down on Thursday.

I am saying that Game 1 was the "mulligan" for this series for Milwaukee. Expect another 15 points or better win on Saturday afternoon.

                    5* MILWAUKEE

                      Bob Valentino

Saturday comp play on the Red Sox and Orioles Over the total.

Last night's series opener saw a combined 13 runs as the Sox and the O's each ended a small streak of 2 in a row Under the total.

Boston has averaged 6.75 runs per game over their last 4, so look for them to be locked-in tonight while facing Alex Cobb who just allowed 5 runs on 8 hits in his last start. Cobb owns a 3.73 career ERA against Boston which is not terrible, but does show that the Red Sox should be able to get their cuts in against the righty tonight.

Martin Perez sports a season ERA of 4.07 and and even higher ERA of 5.19 when facing the Baltimore bats.

Bats keep raking tonight at Camden Yards.

                      Sox-O's Over.

                        Jack Brayman

I'm ready for Comp Winner # 7 of 10, as I head to Edmonton.

Let's head to the ice for tonight's complimentary pick, as I'm playing the Colorado Avalanche on the puck line against the Dallas Stars. It really makes no sense to have this big plus-price on the puck line when the Avs are so good on both ends. The books are going to learn a lesson with that puck line today.

Colorado is the No. 1 team in the playoffs with 3.88 goals for and the No. 1 team with 1.63 goals against. On 5-on-5 even strength, the Avs are boasting a stellar 3.00 edge.

Colorado won its last two games by identical scores of 7-1, and knocked off the Arizona Coyotes in five games. And I'm sorry, but it's going to be too much for the Stars to handle Colorado's offensive weapons in this series.

Nathan MacKinnon sits atop the NHL with 13 points in the playoffs, 10 (three goals, seven assists) of which came against the Yotes. Toss in Nazem Kadri, Mikko Rantanen, Cale Makar and Gabriel Landeskog, and you have some of the most dangerous weapons in the postseason.

As good as the Vegas Golden Knights are, as heavy as the Stars play, as surprising as the Vancouver Canucks can be, there is no team that can hang with these Avalanche.

And Game 1 is where statements are made. Lay the puck line.

                          Chris Jordan

My free play for tonight is the Over in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche.

I'll be straight up about it, I think Colorado is the most dangerous team in the NHL Playoffs right now, and it's because of the one guy who has emerged as probably the best player in the league: Nathan MacKinnon. I'm not going to lay the puck line, though, but would rather bet on these two opening things up offensively and pushing this one over.

In eight games, MacKinnon is tied for the league lead (with Vancouver's Elias Petterson), having tallied 13 points (4 goals and 9 assists). MacKinnon is dangerous because of his speed, his accuracy and his ability to draw defenders away from teammates on the odd-man rushes, and send precision passes at the split second.

Not too far behind is Nazem Kadri, who has 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) and Mikko Rantanen with 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists). That's three weapons ranking in the top 10 offensively.

Colorado goalie Philip Grubauer will have his hands full with a Dallas team that swifted its way through the Calgary Flames in the opening round. The Stars are led offensively by Miro Heiskanen, who has 12 points (3 goals, 9 assists).

The Avalanche lead the league during the postseason with 3.88 goals per game, while Dallas checks in with 2.78. Colorado has been exceptional in limiting the goals against, but the Stars are head and shoulders above the Arizona Coyotes, and have no choice but to skate with the Avs in this series.

You don't stop Colorado, you play with it.

I like this first game to soar over the number.

                          5* OVER Stars-Avalanche
