Tuesday MLB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between St. Louis and Cincinnati at 6:40 pm et on Tuesday.
We saw a high-scoring affair between these two clubs last night but I expect a different story to unfold on Tuesday. Kwang Hyun Kim will take the ball for the Cardinals. While he's not missing a lot of bats, he has given up just 11 hits in 16 2/3 innings of work this season. He has also been tagged for just one home run. Sonny Gray will counter for the Reds. He was an All-Star a year ago and finished seventh in N.L. Cy Young voting. He's been even better so far this season with his strikeouts per nine innings up and his walks, hits and home runs allowed all down. Look for him to perform well against a Cardinals team that entered last night's action ranked T26 in runs per game and T20 in team batting average. Take the under (8*).

These two teams will easily combine for 10 runs in Tuesday's matchup. Both offenses are going to feast in this one, as the Cubs send out the struggling Jon Lester against the overrated Chad Kuhl.
Lester had a fantastic start to 2020, but that has taken a turn for the worse. He's got a 8.59 ERA and 1.840 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Lester's ERA for the season is now 4.55, but his FIP is up there at 5.28.
Kuhl comes in with a 2.70 ERA and 0.950 WHIP in 4 starts. Impressive numbers, but a bit fluky. That's evident by Kuhl's awful 5.45 FIP. He's also got a ridiculously low BABIP at .180.
If that wasn't enough bad news for Kuhl, he's 1-6 with a 6.75 ERA and 1.940 WHIP in 9 career starts against the Cubs.
Add in two of baseball's worst bullpens (Pirates 5.09 ERA and Cubs 5.42 ERA) and there's going to be runs early and often in this one. Give me the OVER 9!

Phillies are hot and Nationals are cold I get it. As far as a value standpoint though you have to take the Nationals especially with Corbin on the mound. Corbin just had a solid start against the Phillies that resulted in a loss but he was +105. Now we are getting +146? I mean come on this is a big overreaction here
