Rotation #399/400
Georgia Tech/Florida State Under 52
Florida State is again loaded with talent, but they have a brand new coaching staff. How they do week one against a gritty team will be their first true test. The Noles bring back QB Justin Blackmon. This team has a couple of good targets returning but will be without DJ Matthews today which will also hurt them in the return game. This team will also try to find a replacement for the departed Cam Akers. That won’t be an easy task. Georgia Tech has a very good defense that should be able to hold their own today. When the Yellow Jackets have the ball it will not be the triple option team we remember with Paul Johnson as head coach. They transitioned very well last year and it Geoff Collins 2nd year at coach this team should be a lot better. Collins still needs times to go out and recruit his own players for his own system. Many of these players are still carry overs from the Johnson era. Florida State is stacked on defense at every level. This Noles team has more talent and speed and should be able to hold Tech to a low offensive production. Both teams are breaking in new FG kickers as well. Nothing helps and under more than an 8 minute drive and a missed FG. Take the Under.

Rotation #962
Royals -125 over Pirates
Hernandez/Williams
Pittsburgh is simply put just a bad baseball team right now and can’t hit right handed pitching for the life of them. Kansas City is just as bad record wise as both teams sit in the basement of their divisions, but the Royals have a 4 game win streak going and I just don’t see this struggling Pirates offense slowing them down tonight. Take Kansas City
LOUISVILLE -11.5
W. KENTUCKY @ LOUISVILLE | 9/12 | 8:00 PM EDT
YESTERDAY 11:51 AM
This is going to be a tough Cardinals team under second-year head coach Scott Satterfield. He earned the ACC Coach of the Year award after turning a 2-10 team into an 8-5 squad. The Cardinals finished the year strong and are returning plenty of talent on both sides of the ball. Louisville won last year’s meeting, 38-21. Although this is a very improved Hilltoppers team under Tyson Helton, they are inexperienced at QB. Louisville QB Micale Cunningham is a dual threat. The Cardinals will test the Western Kentucky defense and produce a very similar outcome as last year.
CLEMSON -33
CLEMSON @ WAKE FOREST | 9/12 | 7:30 PM EDT
THU 9/10
Clemson is unquestionably going to be the top team in the country. Trevor Lawrence is 29-1 as a starter. The Tigers have won 11 straight meetings vs. Wake Forest, beating them 52-3 last season and 63-3 the year before. It has been three years since the Demon Deacons have even scored a TD on Clemson. Wake Forest hasn't defeated a Top 5 team since 1946. Clemson is 10-1 ATS in its last 11 games as a road favorite. Look for the Tigers to dominate from start to finish, as they are loaded on offense and defense. Wake Forest is much too inexperienced on both sides of the football. Clemson will roll again, 54-7.
ST. LOUIS -130
CINCINNATI @ ST. LOUIS | 9/12 | 8:15 PM EDT
8:09 AM
The Cardinals lost 3-1 as underdogs in yesterday’s series opener. Today, they are favored and they have not disappointed in this spot. St. Louis is 16-0 before Game 125 of the season as a favorite in Game 2 of a series when it was the underdog in the opener and it has a better record than its opponent. The Reds are 0-8 before Game 100 of the season after a win as road favorites in which they scored three or fewer runs. We are on the Cardinals.

Los Angeles is a relentless 12-0 as a rested home favorite in a series opener against a team that is behind it in the standings, winning by an average of 4.58 runs. The Astros are 0-8 recently as underdogs coming off a road game in which they had more strikeouts than hits. In these eight games, Houston has scored 4, 2, 1, 2, 2, 0, 2, and 1 run. We are on LA.

Milwaukee is 0-8 as a home underdog coming off a shutout win as a favorite. Chicago is a reliable 14-0 as a favorite with Kyle Hendricks starting, going 14-0 when he allowed three or fewer runs in his last start and the Cubs won. We make the play Chicago.

The Orioles are 0-9 SU after a game in which they did not score after the third inning. The Yankees overwhelmed the Orioles yesterday and we can’t imagine them not being able to carry the momentum of that win into today’s contest. NY is 11-0 at home after a game in which it had more than one multiple-run innings, winning by an average of 4.91 runs per game with every win by multiple runs. We are laying the price.
