Who wants to stay up late Saturday night sweating Kansas football? You do, of course. These two teams met in Lawrence last season and Coastal Carolina picked up a 12-7 win. I'm not ready to say Coastal is going to win in Lawrence two years in a row, but I'm not ready to back the Jayhawks as a favorite, either. Kansas is 1-6 ATS the last seven times it has been favored at home.

Kansas State has a certain style of play that just works so well with the Under. The Wildcats are content to take their time and grind you out, and being heavy favorites here, they'll dictate the style of play. Their ability to do so is one of the many reasons the Under has gone 16-5 in their last 21 games at home as well as 10-2 in their last 12 games as a favorite.

The Cajuns have become somewhat of a trendy upset pick this weekend with so few games looking like they'll be even contests. I'm not willing to go that far, but I do think the Cajuns will present some problems for Iowa State, and they also know their best chance to stay in the game will be limit the overall number of possessions. As long as this number stays over 56 I'm comfortable taking the Under.

North Carolina has been a very popular pick during the offseason and that is skewing this line quite a bit. The Tar Heels finished 7-6 last year! They were 4-6 before finishing the season with three wins. I see a bright future in Chapel Hill, but the present doesn't call for trusting UNC as more than a three-touchdown favorite. Believe me, I'm not excited about being on Syracuse here, but principle demands it.

With so much uncertainty heading into the 2020 season, I want to rely on things I know. What I know is that Notre Dame has a veteran starting QB returning while Duke has a transfer that's never played a snap for them. I also know that Notre Dame is far more talented overall, and beat Duke 38-7 in Durham last year. I don't think enough has changed since then to expect Duke to make up 11 points.

Clemson is the dominant force in the ACC and that dominance hasn't been limited to straight results. The Tigers dominate ATS as well, covering in 19 of their last 27 ACC games. Last year the Tigers went 8-1 ATS against ACC teams, covering by more than six points per game. They beat Wake Forest team 52-3 last year, and this year's Wake Forest isn't likely to be as good as last year's team was.
