CALL THE COLONEL - When this jock and handler combine forces you have to take a look. Tavares and Cowan have been terrific together. Flopped as the favorite in his last start. Ran well considering the speed fig recorded was good enough to make him one of the contenders in today's event. LEE'S LUCK - The last time he tried this distance he got a fig good enough to win this event. I like when a horse has dropped in class at least five pts like this one did last race out and then runs against a similar field right back. Matthews must've found the right class.

Mojica was aboard this gelding last time around the track and was impressed enough to take the equine right back. This gelding registered a nice speed figure of 66 in his last contest. That speed rating should be good enough to win in today's event. This gelding is in good form. Finished first on Nov 1st. UNO RIVER - Doyle and Davidson partnered with one another are a railbird's friend. This gelding is the longer price of the 'split' entry from the barn of Davidson.
