Betting against the Buckeyes is usually bad for business, but numbers are numbers and mine say they should only be -17 with a home field edge built-in against Indiana. The Hoosiers have had their rating upgraded each week after winning and covering all four games, and the Buckeyes' massive rating, my No.1 overall, still doesn’t get to -20.5. It's a small disparity, but just the excuse I needed to ride with Indiana which has covered the past five meetings with Ohio State. The Hoosiers will play well. I bet them to cover.

The Bruins allowed 526 yards at Colorado and that number is likely to get topped on Saturday night. Oregon by 24+ in this match-up.

Hawaii rush D allowing 252 YPG and 5.4 ypc and while they were slowed at Wyoming and at San Diego St the first was the weather and the second was the MW’s best D fired up off a loss.

Hugh Freeze is the man. What a coach! The Flames are 8-0 this year, but their schedule has been awful. This team did beat Syracuse which has their own injury issues, but the win at VTech proves this is a really good team. I just don’t think they can continue to keep it up against better athletes. This is a really light offensive line that I believe the Wolfpack front seven can handle. NC State has so many great offensive weapons and their offensive line should hold up against this defense and any pressure it brings. This is a game in which NC State is the bigger and more physical team and they should have no problem putting up 40 plus points. Liberty will be undefeated no more. Take NC State.

When Penn St went to Nebraska last week after starting the season 0-3 I was concerned that the Nittany Lions might just quit on the season. After all Penn St is use to playing on a Big New Years Day Bowl Game every year and at 3-0 that ain’t happening this year. Well they did come out flat last week trailing at the half 27-6. If this team was going to quit it was definitely right there in Nebraska but instead battled in the second outscoring Nebraska 17-3. They still lost 30-23 but showed me more in the loss that this team hasn’t quit. Penn St put up over 500 yards of offense in the loss. Today I expect another strong effort at home as they erase the bad taste in their mouths from their last home game when they lost to Maryland as 26 point favorites. PENN ST 30-23 as my 4% STEAM GAME OF THE WEEK.
