The fifth Pegasus World Cup anchors the week in Saturday’s huge program of racing. The Pegasus World Cup Turf is 1 of 7 stakes that includes the Pegasus World Cup Turf. First post time Saturday for the 13-race card will be 11:30 am ET … Gulfstream Park will offer a mandatory payout in the Rainbow 6 on Sunday to close the racing week. The jackpot bet’s carryover is $400,559 heading into Wednesday’s opener ($750,000-guaranteed pool) Post positions will be drawn live at 1:45 pm ET Wednesday for the Pegasus World Cup.

#4 Pioneer Pride Outran his 48/1 price in the debut effort, and he can probably take some kind of a step forward in this second trip to post. Upside at another playable price.
#9 Got Kramer No doubt the one to beat off the neck loss in the debut, and he flashed the kind of pace that day that suggests he'll be right in the mix early with these again here. Worried the price gets too short.
#9 Sugarland Express Tactical player stuck around nicely when hiked to this level last out, and he's another with some positional pace to find a good spot early.
Race Summary Pioneer Pride will be a shorter price than the big balloons he offered in the debut run, but he turned in an encouraging effort that day and won't have to come forward very much to make a dent with these.

Delta Downs - Race #6
Picks Notes
#9 Cabeza de Tortuga Something similar to that last one would leave her with a big claim on the top spot after turning in a better effort than she previously had at this level. Slight edge.
#8 Charlie Roads Tactical type pressed and gave way in the local debut, but that sort of effort stacks up nicely with these, and her ability to flash some pace should serve her well.
#7 Fearless Dixie She has had her share of chances, but she will be a playable price for a piece. She returns off the layoff with a light worktab, but she has been in with much better than this and could snag a share.
Race Summary Cabeza de Tortuga found some better form near the end of her 2020 campaign, and she should be in line for a great trip from close range again with these.

#10 I Want a Picture Reliable type is a good fit with this kind after posting an easy score with similar open company runners, and his press and pounce style should serve him well.
#1 Wonder Run Steps up off the claim after a couple of razor-sharp runs, and he has some back class that could make him competitive here.
#8 Mr. Priority Finisher will likely be along too late to land this, but he has some appeal underneath at a price in a race where a couple of the pace players are suspect late.
Race Summary I Want a Picture has some versatility and fired fresh off the bench last time out. If he's able to bring something similar here, he's got a big claim on the top spot.
