                SUPER CHARLIE - This gelding is a gem of consistency, almost always in the money. Nice return on investment for this jock and conditioner duo. Bliss moves this horse here to Fonner Park from Horsemen's Park. Looking at the horse's PP lines, he has shown the ability to win at multiple tracks. Carrying 5 pounds less this race. Trainer has him in a good spot. Going on Lasix for the first time. While a common handicapping angle, it's still quite an important piece of information. NAME THE PRICE - The jockey has had great success with this equine in the past. Didn't ride last time but gets back in the saddle today. You have to always check out this type of speed demon with an inside post in a sprint on a bullring. Carrying 5 pounds less this race. Trainer has him in a good spot. 55-66-77 are last three speed figures. Improving each time out is something he should do again in this race. YE BE JUDGED - I like a campaigner that manages to finish in the money as often as this gelding. Almost always in the money so don't leave him out of your exotic bets. The May 11th race at Fonner Park was at a class level of (89). Dropping down in the class scale significantly, so he should be in a good spot. This speed horse could take the lead quickly. My guess is he'll take a shot at wiring the field.

                PHLASH DRIVE - Hard to wager on a horse that lays up for a long time then doesn't hit the board off the extended layoff. BARTENDERS MISTAKE - I'm always a little shy about any mount that earns his biggest fig on an 'off' track. YAYASGOTMOREGAME - Really don't think the recent speed rating was garnered legitimately. The off conditions may have lead to such a high rating. Improbable that this horse will finish better than he did last time out when finishing third.

Make a note that this horse runs on Lasix today. PADDY'S HOUSE - Trainer's maiden starters have been running solid races lately. Progeny of this sire have produced strong profits recently in their first asking race. Don't overlook this animal as the handler has produced very strong profits with 1st time starters.

                        I give my vote to HIGHER AUTHORITY here. This gelding ought to be carefully examined just off the earnings per start in dirt route races alone. The average Equibase class figure of 82 makes this one tough to beat. With a formidable 88 average speed rating at the distance, seems well suited for today's race. IHADADREAM - Has to be carefully examined against this field displaying very strong figures as of late and an average speed fig of 78 under similar conditions. Has been racing solidly in races of this distance, going 4 for 10 under similar conditions.

                            DOCTOR MCCOY - The Feb 13th event at Charles Town was at a class level of (79). Dropping to a lower class rank drastically, so he should be in a good spot. My partners and I have made cash playing ponies with this type of early speed. Follow my advice and do the same. Possibly a peak effort for this gelding today. Been getting closer and the finish with each recent start. A thoroughbred coming back this rapidly after a solid contest is a good omen. This gelding's last speed rating is strong enough to prove victorious here, I'll play him back again today. This animal has increased his Equibase speed figures in each of the last two races. That kind of progress is extremely important.

                            Vulnerable Contenders: #1 SPUNMAN (ML=3/1), #6 NEVER COMPROMISE (ML=3/1), #5 GOLDEN APPEAL (ML=9/2),

                            SPUNMAN - Garnered a run-of-the-mill speed figure last time out in a Maiden Special race on January 7th. Improbable to see an improved performance off of that fig. NEVER COMPROMISE - This racer ran a most unsatisfactory fig last out. He shouldn't show signs of improvement and will probably get beat in today's event running that fig. GOLDEN APPEAL - 9/2 is too low of a price to take on this participant.
