    NHL | Islanders vs Sabres
Play on: Islanders -1½ +120 at linepros

The Sabres scored the upset last night but the Isles should bounce right back this evening. Prior to last night, the Isles had beaten the Sabres, by multiple goals, in three straight meetings. While the Sabres managed four goals last night, they're just 1-11 the past 12 times that they scored four or more in their previous game. While the moneyline is expensive, we're able to get a positive money return, when laying -1.5 goals. Expect the Sabres to have trouble scoring against the stingy and revenge-minded Isles. Consider NY on the puck-line.

Charlotte @ Detroit (7:10 PM EST)
        Play On: Charlotte -6 1/2
The Charlotte Hornets travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons on Tuesday night. Charlotte is 31-33 SU overall this year while Detroit comes in with a 19-45 SU overall record on the season. Charlotte is 10-0 SU and 8-2 ATS overall vs Detroit the past 3 years including 4-0 SU and ATS when playing in Detroit. Charlotte is 6-0 ATS last 6 games as a road favorite. Charlotte is 21-6-1 ATS last 28 road games against a team with a losing home record. Charlotte is 34-16-1 ATS last 51 games against a team with a losing record. Detroit is 1-4 ATS last 8 games as an underdog. Detroit is 2-5 ATS last 7 games when playing with no rest. Charlotte is 7-1 ATS last 8 meetings overall in this series. We'll recommend a small play on Charlotte tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky

          NBA | Suns vs Cavs
Play on: Cavs +13 -110 at Draft Kings

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Cleveland Cavaliers +13
The Phoenix Suns just recently picked up three straight huge wins over the Knicks, Clippers and Jazz. They then barely beat one of the worst teams in the NBA in the Thunder by 3 as 15-point favorites. And I can't see them being motivated enough to put away the Cleveland Cavaliers by 13-plus points tonight. The Cavaliers just got their best player in Collin Sexton back from injury. He and Kevin Love both had big games against the Miami Heat last time out. And they should have enough to keep them competitive against the Suns tonight. Phoenix is 0-4 ATS in its last four games against a team with a losing record. The Suns are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine road games. The Cavaliers are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games playing on two days' rest. Phoenix is 0-4 ATS in its last four trips to Cleveland. Give me the Cavaliers.

            NBA | Nets vs Bucks
Play on: Bucks -2 -105 at BetCris

Jack's Free Pick Tuesday: Milwaukee Bucks -2
I cashed in the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday over the Brooklyn Nets and I'll get back on them as Tuesday's free pick. The Bucks were in control of that game basically the entire way and only won 117-114 despite making just 6 free throws for the game, so they definitely didn't get the benefit of the whistles.
The Bucks will remain motivated to pull off the sweep in this double-header because they trail the Nets by 2.5 games for 2nd place in the Eastern Conference. There is a great chance these two meet up in the second round of the playoffs, and home-court advantage would be big for them.
We saw recently what the Bucks were able to do in this same double-header situation against the top seed in the Eastern Conference in the Philadelphia 76ers. After beating the 76ers 124-117 in Game 1, they were even more dominant just two days later in a 132-94 victory in Game 2.
While I'm not expecting that again, the Bucks should be good enough to win and cover this short number tonight. Milwaukee is now 28-11-1 ATS in its last 40 meetings with Brooklyn. Bet the Bucks Tuesday.

              MLB | Indians vs Royals
Play on: Royals -131 at pinnacle

              Dave's Tuesday Free Play:
1* on Kansas City Royals -131
The Key: Mike Minor is 2-0 with a 0.60 ERA and 0.93 WHIP in 2 lifetime starts against the Indians. He will shut them down tonight and lead the Royals to victory. Sam Hentges shouldn't even be in the big leagues. He went 14-32 with a 4.34 ERA and 1.51 WHIP in the minors over 6 seasons. He has a 4.76 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in his brief career in the majors. And he is likely to get lit up by the Royals for however long he last tonight. Take Kansas City.

Play on: Indians +130 at Draft Kings

1* Free Sharp Play on Indians +130
The Indians (+130) are worth a look here as a road dog against the Royals in Tuesday's MLB action. This is just too good a price to pass up with Cleveland. Kansas City's Mike Minor has a mere 5.26 ERA and 1.363 WHIP in 5 starts. He was awful in his last start against Detroit, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits (2 HR) and 3 walks in just 4 1/3 innings of work. Indians are also swinging a much better bat of late, as they have scored 13 in their last two games and 5 or more in 6 of their last 8. Play Cleveland +130!

                  NBA | Warriors vs Pelicans
Play on: Pelicans -2 -110 at linepros

                  1* NBA - Warriors/Pelicans *FREE PICK* on Pelicans -2
Tuesday's Free NBA Pick is on the New Orleans Pelicans as a 2-point home favorite against the Golden State Warriors. Last night's 108-123 home loss to the Warriors really put New Orleans behind the 8-ball when it comes to sneaking in as the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference. With that said, I don't think the Pelicans will lay down until they are officially out.
I think a big effort here should lead to a win. Golden State is still playing short-handed and it was pretty much all Curry and Wiggins last night, as the two combined for 67 points. While Curry might go for 40+ again, it's unlikely, I don't see Wiggins going for 26 or more.
Pelicans also shot a miserable 5 of 25 (20%) from behind the 3-point line last night. No way they shoot that poorly from deep again. Bet New Orleans -2!

                    NBA | Raptors vs Clippers
Play on: Clippers -9½ -110 at Draft Kings

Tuesday NBA Free play. My selection is on Los Angeles minus the points over Toronto at 10:10 pm et on Tuesday.
The Raptors stunned Lebron James and the Lakers on Sunday night, winning outright as near double-digit underdogs. Now they play their second straight game in Los Angeles, this time against the Clippers, who are back close to full strength and in bounce-back mode off three straight losses, including a 110-104 setback against the Nuggets last time out. The Clips are set up well here, noting they've gone a perfect 10-0 ATS after losing five or six of their last seven games ATS over the last two seasons, outscoring opponents by a whopping average margin of 22.1 points in that situation. They also check in 22-11 ATS after allowing 105 points or more in three consecutive games over the last two seasons, outscoring opponents by 9.2 points on average in that spot. The Raptors are simply playing out the string at this point, resting a starter or two on most nights. I expect them to have a tough time keeping pace with a highly-motivated Clips squad for four quarters on Tuesday night. Take Los Angeles (8*).

Quick Synopsis: We're coming right back with the same free play as last night in the NHL and the Hurricanes in regulation time. Carolina did as expected and eliminated the Hawks from playoff contention while maintaining their lead a top the division and another win on Tuesday takes them one step closer to locking up the #1 seed. Expect the same effort tonight against a Hawks team that might offer little resistence.
The play is Carolina Hurricanes -155

Play: Total Under 8.5 (-115) K Gibson (RHP), J Happ (LHP) Must Start
The Twins are 13-0 UNDER since August 9, 2019 at home following a game in which they issued five or more walks. Minnesota is 36-16-2 UNDER in its last 54 games versus a starting pitcher with a 1.15 WHIP or less and Texas right-hander Kyle Gibson toes the rubber with 1.14 WHIP this season. Gibson owns a 2.16 ERA, 2.57 FIP, and 2.99 xERA in six starts, a span covering 33.1 innings of work. The 33-year-old has yet to allow a home run and continues to keep the ball on the ground (53.1% GB%). Gibson has a 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and a 19.7% strikeout rate over the past two weeks, which has been fueled by increased use of his cutter which gives him a pitch to create strikeouts with in the zone.
Minnesota southpaw J.A. Happ has posted a 1.26 ERA, 0.56 WHIP, and an 11.8% strikeout rate in the last two weeks. The ageless wonder has relied on his fastball, which has excellent movement. The 38-year-old is inducing soft contact (25.4% Hard%) and currently owns a career-low 0.78 HR/9 rate. Happ is 6-2 with a career 3.04 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in eight career starts against the Rangers. Texas batters enter tonight's game with the second-highest strikeout rate (28.4%) in the league together with the 19th-ranked slugging percentage (.381).
Take the UNDER as Oskeim Sports' Free Pick Winner for Tuesday, May 4.

The A’s and the Jays face off tonight with Oakland on fire over the past few weeks which includes a 13 game winning streak. I think they have a big advantage on the mound tonight, home field, and it’s close in terms of firepower in the bats.
