The Panthers find themselves down 0-2 in the series and desperate for a victory. They have come close falling to the defending Stanley Cup champion Lighting, 5-4 and 3-1 two days ago with the third goal coming via an empty net. Florida has won four of the last five times when playing on one day's rest. Florida has had more shots on goal so far in the series and gets back suspended Sam Bennett for this Game 3. Bennett had two assists in Game 1, but missed Game 2 because of a one-game suspension. He's been a big part of the Panthers' success since being acquired from the Flames during the season. Before losing the first two games of this series, the Panthers had won 10 of 12. This included beating the Lightning, 5-1 and 4-0, during the last two games of the regular season. I'd be surprised if Tampa Bay swept this series. This is the spot where Florida gets a victory.
