No gigantic edges, but when checking out the check marks in the categories I focus on, it's basically a clean sweep for Kansas City. Dane Dunning has been more unlucky than anything else at home. He checks in with an average game score of 56 in this ballpark which is solid. But overall Dunning has not been good and it needs to be mentioned that the Rangers are 2-12 when he takes the ball. Mike Minor has been good on the road with a solid 60 average game score and he's a little better than average overall in that category. The Royals are also 5-1 in his six away starts. Moving to the offenses, the splits are a virtual wash and it's just a slight KC edge over the past week. But for the month, the visitors have been average, and that's a whole lot better than the Rangers, who have not hit well at all. At roughly even money for the first 5 innings, there's enough here to warrant a wager on the Royals.
