The OVER (41.5) is worth a look as the Browns host the Steelers on Monday Night Football. I know these aren't exactly two offenses you think of when it comes to offense, but the total is low enough here that there's value with the OVER. I don't think Cleveland's defense will be all that locked in given they have nothing to play for after being eliminated from the playoffs. As long as the Browns don't sit all their starters, the offense is going to be in a position to put points on the board and there's no reason to not let it rip with nothing at stake. Play the OVER 41.5!

Combined, these two offenses only average 41 points/game. Facing one another on a Monday night, we expect this to be a low-scoring affair. The Browns were officially eliminated from playoff contention yesterday. So there's a question of motivation now. In 9 of the last 10 games, the Browns have not exceeded 24 points. One of the two times that they did was because they scored a defensive TD. The Steelers have scored 20 or less in five of their last nine games and each of the last two. Cleveland has a Top 10 defense. Pittsburgh doesn't, but they've also had to face some of the top offenses recently and didn't have the full complement of players. The Browns' offense is nothing to be afraid of, so go with the UNDER in this one.

The Denver Nuggets have won the first three games of this four-game road trip and I like their chances of pulling off the sweep with another upset victory tonight over the Dallas Mavericks. That includes an upset win at Golden State as 7.5-point underdogs.
The Nuggets are rested and ready to go playing just their 2nd game in 6 days. The same cannot be said for the Mavericks, who will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and in their 3rd different city in 4 days after a 95-86 win at Oklahoma City yesterday. That was a Thunder team missing several key players due to COVID as they failed to cover as 10-point favorites.
The Mavericks are 6-18 ATS in their last 24 games following a win. Dallas is 6-14 ATS in its last 20 home games. This is also Dallas' first game back home following a five-game road trip that started on Christmas Day in Utah. It's a terrible spot for the Mavericks for a number of reasons. Bet the Nuggets Monday.

I will take my chances with the Hawks as a 5.5-point road favorite against the Blazers. Atlanta's injury report is long, but it's not nearly as bad as Portlands. Most of the guys out for the Hawks are role players and they are expected to get back two big pieces to the rotation in Gallinari and Huerter.
They got more than enough fire-power to go on the road and win by at least 6 against a Blazers team that won't have Lillard, McCollum or Nurkic. Especially with the way Portland has been defending. Blazers have given up 100 or more in 13 straight, allowing 120+ in each of their last 3 games. Give me the Hawks -5.5!
