Vitali seems to have this filly primed for a big effort. Her workout pattern is wonderful. MISS REBEKAH - I have to figure that today's shorter distance should help this filly. I really like that last contest on Dec 15th at Turf Paradise where she finished second. The Dec 15th event at Turf Paradise was at a class level of (70). Dropping down the class scale a significant amount, so she should be in a good spot. The recent speed fig of 64 is the top last race fig in the bunch. FOUNDATION - This first timer has been getting primed in the morning at Turf Paradise, a good sign. Strong sire stats for this thoroughbred. May be worth a wager. The addition of Lasix might make this horse wake up and run a great right here in this race. I have all the information you need right here. Dam stats for first timers, winners 56 percent of the time.

1^st race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (1) Got the Gold (B) rallied five-wide from post-position 12 to finish second in a maiden claimer. Steps back up after that good effort. (6) Mom’s Eye Candy debuted almost a year ago at odds of 7-2 at Turfway Park, pressed the pace, and finished fourth. The second-place horse came back to win next time out. He sold for $350,000 as a yearling and ships up to New York to try NY-breds in his second career start as a 5-year-old. (4) Rush to Honor come back a new gelding to make his second start following a May layoff where he was third behind a return winner. (2) Feathers Road will move from turf to dirt which is a common move for trainer Linda Rice. In November, he ran second sprinting.
2^nd race [OC50k/SAL50k, 1 mi] – This race is basically a N2L spot for 3-year-olds. (5) Waters of Merom was a winner last time by more than eight lengths for a $30,000 tag at Keeneland in October and, surprisingly, was claimed from Brad Cox by Chad Brown. (3) Saratoga Kisses was third in a similar spot last time for Rudy Rodriguez who adds Lasix. She broke her maiden for a $50,000 tag. (2) Kingdom Queen was just behind the second choice in his most recent race. (6) Babyitsgoldoutside got her victory at Finger Lakes in a maiden special weight when she moved from turf to dirt and shipped from Belmont Park for Jeremiah Englehart.
6^th race [Alw 50000s, 1 mi] – (1) Chloe Rose is a new horse since she was claimed two races ago by Gustavo Rodriguez with a win and a second. (2) Suspended Campaign came back from a short layoff to miss winning her second race in a row by just a neck. (5) Sweet Mission moved from turf to dirt following a grass win last month. She did break her maiden on the dirt at Saratoga. (6) Blushable will make her second start at Aqueduct since shipping up from Kentucky.
7^th race [OC 62k/N2X, 6 ½ F] – (1) Spun d’Etat was claimed from her last three starts with wins in her last two with front-end efforts. She is part of an ownership entry. (3) Patty H was claimed for $80,000 last time at Belmont following a win. Overall, she won 5 out of last 7 starts. (2) Easy to Bless is another filly that knows how to win and run well with a career record of 13: 6-2-1. (6) Royal Meghan could find her way into the trifecta at long odds.

Best bets: Got the Gold (1^st); Spun d’Etat (7^th). Best value: Waters of Merom (2^nd); Chloe Rose (6^th).

2nd race – (2) Macedonian drops considerably and should prevail, even on dirt. (3) Sandy Dude was second last time and could be the main foe. (5) Merzaz is worth a look at this level. (7) Ziggy might be a stretch threat. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3. Exactas: 2-3 over 5-7 and 5-7 over 2-3.
4th race – (1) Miss You Ella should be well-suited by Tapeta and gets the nod. (4) Culdee is an interesting first-time starter. (2) Golden Belief adds Saez and may turn in an improved effort. (5) Star of India is a firster from Chad who has some appeal. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4. Exactas: 1-4 over 2-5 and 2-5 over 1-4. Doubles: 1-2-4-5 with 5-6-7-9.
5th race – (6) Fiery Heart rallied belatedly for third in his debut and should graduate in this spot. (5) Roadtriptonowhere was claimed out of a second in his debut and will be a factor here. (7) Defensible had some trouble at the start and wound up fifth. Can be closer today. (9) Sosua Summer showed a nice turn of speed in his debut and is worth a look here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-7-9.
8th race – (3) Miss T Too had a useful comeback race and may not look back here. (5) Four Graces is a graded stakes winner and looks like the one to fear. (7) Starship Nala was a distant second in a state-bred stakes and should be a contender here. (6) Music City Star may shine in this spot. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5. Exactas: 3-5 over 6-7 and 6-7 over 3-5. Doubles: 3-5-6-7 with 3-4-5-7.
9th race – (5) Zanno was a gate-to-wire winner last time and should be hard to catch here as well. (4) Discreet Tune is highly consistent and can make his presence felt. (3) Super Design seems capable of bouncing back with a big effort against this field. (7) Henry’s World should welcome some class relief in this spot after running in a Claiming Crown stakes. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-7
