Race Summary Goaltender made a remarkable recovery from a break at the start at half-mile Western Fair last out. He spotted the field 10 lengths, was held up by stalled cover and a crowded outer flow on the backstretch, then closed with a 6-wide flourish after he angled out mid-turn. Bet on him to win and place.

#6 Beautiful Lover Ran an even third vs. Always Shopping last time out and ran very well at this distance, finishing second two back at Belmont.
Race Summary Hungry Kitten will get some help from a battle out front and she should be able to make an impact coming from far back.

Gulfstream Park - Race #7

#10 Abaan Loves it on the front end and should be there in a matter of a few strides; can dictate how it develops and looks like another Saez gate-to-wire win.
#9 Glynn County Had a dull run last out but was third in stakes race two back at Kentucky Downs; has been in several good races and looks like a threat at 1.5 miles.
#8 Bakers Bay Was fifth at this distance and can be in a good stalking position; fits with these.
Race Summary Abaan can control the pace and should be very difficult to catch.

Gulfstream Park - Race #8

#2 Dance d'Oro Has shown significant improvement in her last three and has been impressive over this strip; might be overlooked despite easy wins in two of her last three.

Pegasus Day has arrived at Gulfstream Park on Saturday. In the first big event of 2022, the $3,000,000 Pegasus World Cup Invitational (Gr. 1) is scheduled for this afternoon in Hallandale Beach at Gulfstream Park. Along with the World Cup Invitational, Gulfstream Park has the $1,000,0000 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (Gr. 1) and $500,000 Pegasus Filly & Mare Turf (Gr. 3).

There are some smaller $200,000 and $150,000 stakes races on the card as well. Other than Gulfstream Park, there’s a pretty day at Oaklawn Park. Oaklawn has the running of the $750,000 Southwest Stakes (Gr. 3) scheduled for Saturday.

The $150,000 La Prevoyante Stakes (Gr. 3) is 1 ½ miles on the turf in Race 5. Look at Beautiful Lover and Always Shopping for a strong chance to win this one.

Beautiful Lover is 4 for 15 in her career and has finished 1st, 5th, 2nd, 3rd in her last three assignments.
In her last win, Beautiful Lover won a $96,000 event by a neck at Belmont Park on June 27. Good effort, though she fell off and hasn’t been back to the winner’s circle.

Always Shopping is 6 for 21 and has plenty of graded experience. In her last run, she scored a $100,000 win by a nose in the Via Borghese Stakes.

That wasn’t the easiest race with some top horses involved. She’s finished 3rd, 6th, 1st in her last three events. If she runs well again, this should be a winnable event.

The Pegasus World Cup turf race is a $1,000,000 Grade 1 event at Gulfstream Park. Look for Sacred Life and Colonel Liam to carry themselves well in this million-dollar event on the grass.

Sacred Life is 7 for 22 and should have a chance to win this one. He has finished 2nd, 1st, 2nd in his previous three entries since August 29.

Sacred Life recorded his first win since August 9, 2020 on October 10, 2021 at Belmont Park. It was a solid go from Sacred Life, as he beat Field Pass by a head in the $150,000 Knickerbocker Stakes (Gr. 3).

He was unable to follow up, though Sacred Life stayed sharp in the $250,000 Seabiscuit Handicap (Gr. 2) on November 27. It didn’t result in a win, but still a solid attempt to place 2nd by a head.

Expect a similar performance to put Sacred Life near the front if she runs like that again. Colonel Liam could be too tough if he finds his previous form, though.

Colonel Liam is 6 for 9 overall in his career. He’s finished 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 8th in his last five, with the winning streak coming to an end in the $750,000 Manhattan Stakes (Gr. 1) on June 5. He just didn’t appear interested.

Prior to that run, Colonel Liam won the $1,000,000 Old Forester Bourbon Turf Classic (Gr. 1) on May 1. That was a good attempt, with a neck win over Domestic Spending.

Following the layoff, expect Colonel Liam to be in top contention. His effort in workouts has been in good form. I will give Colonel Liam the nod to bounce back upon his return.

The $3,000,000 Pegasus World Cup Invitational (Gr. 1) is the biggest race thus far in 2022. Expect a possible duel between Life Is Good and Knicks Go in the stretch. They look much better than the rest going into Saturday.

Life Is Good is 5 for 6 and looking for a hat-trick in this one. He has finished 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 1st, in six career races. His only loss was in the $500,000 H. Allen Jerkens Memorial Stakes (Gr. 1) in August.

Following the loss, Life Is Good won the $300,000 Kelso Handicap (Gr. 2) by 5 ½ lengths on September 25, and then came back in a Breeders’ Cup event on November 16 in the $1,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (Gr. 1).

Life Is Good looked great, wire-to-wire for a 5 ¾ length win. The colt has to be considered. It might be tough with Knicks Go present, though.

Knicks Go has quite the resume, with a win in the $6,000,000 Breeders’ Cup Classic by 2 ¾ lengths. That was his fourth straight win and win in eight of his last ten entries.

That run includes five Grade 1 wins, including the 2021 Pegasus World Cup Invitational. The Horse of the Year is back to defend his crown and should have the best edge over Life Is Good.

RACE 1: MAIDEN CLAIMING $10,000, 4 AND 5-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES AND MARES, 1 1/16 MILES

2-3-4-1

Lots of good racing on tap for today, assuming the weather cooperates. #2 Got a Good Reason (3/1) showed a new dimension in her last start. Unlike in her first two races, she went to the front after the first quarter and hung around on the early pace. She held on to win a show photo, losing second by less than two lengths. Looks to be in improving form. #3 Icy Harbor (7/2) showed speed and held on for third in her first two-turn dirt try last out, and will try to rebound after a dull performance last out. She’s also lightly-raced, having competed just four times prior to this race. #4 Saint Rita (7/2) made what looked like a big move to the front last out, but she flattened out in the stretch while failing to change leads. Nonetheless, it was a much-improved performance from her prior races.

RACE 2: CLAIMING $10,000 (N/W3L), 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, 6 FURLONGS

5-3-2-1

#5 Minnetonka (3/1) has improved with every start as of late, for the dangerous combo of Jerry Robb and Xavier Perez. She’s not a need-the-lead type, but there’s not much early speed in this race, so she could take them gate-to-wire. #3 Little Ms Scarlet (5/2) shipped back from New York for her last start and finished a solid second behind Miner’s Gem, who is riding a four-race winning streak. #2 Thea’s Theme (8/1) takes a big drop from the open $12,500 level. While she has good tactical speed, she’ll need to improve off her last few starts, where she faltered in the stretch after pressing the pace, to have a serious win chance.

H P Moon
H P Moon set for return in Spectacular Bid
H P Moon, away since a dazzling debut last August, will make his return in Saturday’s Spectacular Bid Stakes at Laurel Park.

RACE 3: JENNINGS STAKES, 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, MD-BRED, 1 MILE

4-1-7-3

We’ll get the stakes party started here, and we begin with a favorite who looks much the best. #4 Cordmaker (7/5) was a four-time stakes winner last year, capping off his season with back-to-back wins against open company. He has a similar profile as Harpers First Ride did at this time last year, but elected not to ship to Florida and instead stay home in search of some easy money. If he runs back to his recent races, he’ll be very tough. #1 Bustoff (4/1) has won three of his last four and is the main speed threat in the race. Charlie Marquez has gotten off to a slow start at the meet, but all he’s got to do is send this one to the lead from the inside to give him the maximum shot. #7 Galerio (7/2) loved winning in 2020, but preferred finishing second last year. He was second seven times from eleven starts, against similar fields to the one he’ll see here. He hasn’t quite packed the same punch in his recent starts, but he should at least hang around for a piece.

RACE 4: GEISHA STAKES, 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, MD-BRED, 1 MILE

1-3-4-5

Three Diamonds Farm has a busy day today, with three horses in the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational, but they’ll also race #1 Kiss the Girl (8/5) for Mike Trombetta and the red-hot Victor Carrasco. She finished second in this race last year behind the much-the-best odds-on choice Gale, but since then has won the Conniver Stakes and raced well against open company on dirt. She had to shift paths a bit late in the Ladies Stakes last out, but still closed well for third. Her stablemate, #3 Lookin Dynamic (9/2) almost upset the Thirty Eight Go Go Stakes two back with a strong, wide move, but ended up second to Miss Leslie. She got stuck behind a slow pace last out in the Carousel Stakes and looks for a rebound. #4 Artful Splatter (9/5) got plenty of checks last year but didn’t win a race, oftentimes setting the pace and flattening out. The only serious speed threat here is longshot Double Fireball, so she could get away easy on the front end.

RACE 5: CLAIMING $5,000 (CONDITIONED), 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 6 FURLONGS

#9 Extra Medium (7/2) takes a big drop in class after a strong second-place effort against open $8,000 types last out. The winner of that race, Swing West, came back to soundly defeat a $12,500 claiming field, while the third-place finisher, Hard Fought, won a starter optional claiming race next out. With those kind of class lines, Extra Medium shouldn’t have much trouble with these. #4 Jungle Warrior (9/2) ran a huge race in his first start off a long layoff last out, setting the pace and battling well in the stretch. He stays at this level and cuts back from a mile. His best races have come while going shorter. #12 Big Hambone (5/1) just missed at this level last out after a wide trip. He’s in improving form but is susceptible to getting caught wide once again.

RACE 6: SPECTACULAR BID STAKES, 3-YEAR-OLDS, 7 FURLONGS

3-8-10-2

A few of these are cross-entered in Sunday’s Jimmy Winkfield Stakes at Aqueduct. Whether they’d genuinely rather race in New York or are covering themselves in case of bad weather isn’t necessarily known. One of those cross-entered is #3 H P Moon (9/5), who makes his long-awaited return to the races. He made waves on debut, when he crushed the field at Pimlico by 9 3/4 lengths with a brisnet figure of 89. He returned to the worktab about a month ago, and looks raring to go as he gets set for his 3-year-old debut. It’s possible he needs a race first off the bench, but he looks like a serious horse, so the long layoff might not bother him. #8 Alottahope (3/1) drew away impressively to beat a first-level allowance optional claiming field last out with a career-best mark of 90. He’s shown good tactical speed for Robb and Perez and will take full advantage should H P Moon flatten out. #10 Last Romance (10/1) made a bit of a premature move last out in the Heft Stakes and flattened out to second, but he’s shown the ability to pack big punches and could shake things up.

Frost Point
Victor Carrasco: “All about the right horse”
With Laurel Park about to hold its first stakes of the year, no local rider is hotter than Victor Carrasco, who is set to ride two stakes favorites.

RACE 7: XTRA HEAT STAKES, 3-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES, 6 FURLONGS

3-4-2-6

#3 Luna Belle (1/1) closed strongly in the stretch last out to defeat favored Jester Calls Nojoy in the Maryland Juvenile Fillies Championship last out. She’s shown good closing speed in all of her recent starts and gets a fairly easy field for her 3-year-old debut. In contrast, #4 Beneath the Stars (5/2) has blazing early speed and held on for second in the Smart Halo Stakes after setting an ambitious pace. Trainer Anthony Farrior is off to a strong start at the meet, including two wins yesterday. #2 Buff My Boots (4/1) got some time off after a tough trip in the Smart Halo Stakes last out, and has worked well since. She took advantage of a rail-biased track to win the Maryland Million Lassie two back, but at least she’ll have the advantage of being the speed on the rail this time.

RACE 8: WHAT A SUMMER STAKES, 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, 6 FURLONGS

1-3-7-12

For most of the Willa On the Move Stakes, #1 Princess Kokachin (8/1) looked like the heir apparent to the title of top Maryland-bred female sprinter. She opened up a long lead early and looked home free, but faded late and finished second. She had won five in a row prior to that, showing blazing early speed every time. If you still believe, you’ll get a great price. #3 Regal Retort (7/2) absolutely crushed an allowance optional claiming field at Churchill Downs last out, running a huge figure of 103. She’ll get the trip off the pace, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see her win this one easily as well. #7 Don’t Call Me Mary (4/1) went gate-to-wire in impressive fashion two back, but was a distant third in the Mrs. Claus Stakes last out. The winner of that race, Jakarta, is one of the favorites in the Inside Information Stakes today at Gulfstream Park, while the runner-up, Miss Mosaic, won the American Beauty Stakes at Oaklawn Park last Saturday.

RACE 9: FIRE PLUG STAKES, 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 6 FURLONGS

2-4-6-7

#2 Wondrwherecraigis (4/5) has crossed the wire first four times in a row. He was disqualified out of a win in the DeFrancis Dash, but bounced back to win the Bold Ruler Stakes to give Brittany Russell her first graded stakes win. He hasn’t raced since that October 30 race, but has dominant figures and shouldn’t have much trouble with these. The top three finishers in the December 26 Dave’s Friend Stakes are all back here. I lean towards third-place finisher #4 Youngest of Five (8/1). He surged late and just missed by a neck, an impressive effort after getting thrown out of his pace-setting element early on. He’ll likely press Wondrwherecraigis from the outside. #6 Jaxon Traveler (4/1) returns to this track for the first time since his Maryland Juvenile Championship win in December 2020. He tends to chase the leaders and end up with a check. Worth using underneath in the trifecta and superfecta.

RACE 10: CLAIMING $8,000, 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 1 MILE

#6 Bahama Channel (5/2) crushed a similar field two back with an 86, far and away a career-best mark. He drops back in class after stepping up last out and should enjoy this distance. #4 Oxide (3/1) closed strongly at 6 1/2 furlongs last out and goes second off the claim for Lacey Gaudet. #2 Frankee Merch (6/1) has run in the 70s in his last three starts and battled well in the stretch last out.

Laurel Park Selections for January 29, 2022 – Horse Racing Picks

BetOnline has a nice stakes day on Saturday with seven racecourses hosting at least one stakes race. The biggest is at Gulfstream Park on Pegasus Day in Hallandale Beach. The Pegasus World Cup includes the $3,000,000 Pegasus World Cup Invitational (Gr. 1). It’s a strong field that includes Knicks Go and Life Is Good.

We have three selections at Gulfstream Park, with the $3,000,000 race and $1,000,000 race on the turf. It’s certainly nice to see big-time stakes racing back on the calendar. We are firmly on the Road to the Kentucky Derby now.

Along with Gulfstream Park, we’re heading to Laurel Park in Maryland. Laurel Park has been one of my more profitable tracks over the years, so never oppose playing a card there. Laurel Park has six stakes races, the second-most next to Gulfstream.

Race 3 runs a mile for a $75,000 purse for the Jennings Stakes. The Jennings Stakes is a mile on the dirt. Look for Galerio and Cordmaker to put together a dangerous bid in the stretch.

Galerio is 9 for 31 in his career and has stakes experience. He’s finished 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 4th, 2nd in his previous five attempts.

In his most recent, Galerio placed 2nd behind Doubleoseven by a nose for a $68,120 purse. This was after going 4th on November 26 in the $75,000 Howard and Sondra Bender Memorial on November 26.

Cordmaker should be the top contender to get in at this level. He is 12 for 34 in his career and should handle this race well.

Cordmaker has gone 1st, 6th, 1st, 1st in his previous four. His last attempt was a good one in the $100,000 Robert T. Manfuso Stakes on December 26. Cordmaker had a 3 ½ length win there.

This was after he won the $100,000 Richard W. Small Stakes on November 27. With three stakes wins in his last four outings, Cordmaker looks ready to add another to the portfolio on Saturday.

Race 4 is the $75,000 Geisha Stakes at Laurel Park. Expect a solid race from Kiss the Girl and Artful Splatter. Don’t be surprised if we see a duel unfold in the stretch run.

Artful Splatter is 8 for 36 and should have a decent chance of getting close on Saturday. She has finished 7th, 4th, 2nd in her previous three entries.

There were signs of encouragement from Artful Splatter in her latest showing. She placed 2nd behind Miss Leslie by 3 ¾ lengths in the $100,000 Carousel Stakes. That was a nice attempt.

Down to the $75,000 level, Artful Splatter should be close if she runs in the same form. With that effort, she can compete with Kiss the Girl.

The $100,000 Fire Plug Stakes is the feature event at Laurel Park on Saturday afternoon. This $100,000 event should leave Jaxon Traveler and Wondrwherecraigis in contention.

Jaxon Traveler will need a big push from the outside, but can do it with a good run. He is 5 for 12 in his career with a good chance of a sixth win.

In 12 races, Jaxon Traveler has been in the top-3. Four races back, he beat Alwaysinahurry by 3 lengths in the $75,000 Star De Naskra Stakes on August 21.

In his last attempt, Jaxon Traveler ran well to place 2nd behind Chateau by 3 ½ lengths in $100,00 Gravesend Stakes. It’s hard to count him out in this one.

Wondrwherecragis runs with a purpose and has stakes wins on his plate. He has finished 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st in his last four, with a win in a graded race in his last start.

It was a big effort from Wondrwherecraigis beating Continuation by 2 ¼ lengths in the $200,000 Bold Ruler Handicap (Gr. 3). This was after a solid performance on September 18, winning but dropped to 2nd after a DQ in the $200,000 Frank J. Francis Memorial.

The Fire Plug Stakes looks like another spot for the $210,000 gelding to find a way to the winner’s circle.

LEG 1: (Race 8: Dirt, 1 1/16th, ALLW100k, 4+)

The Saturday Late Pick 4 at Oaklawn Park commences with this tough ALLW Co. contest that has $100k in the kitty. Nothing like racing in Hot Springs … This is a salty match, and as is customary just off Central Ave., it is full of options. Though tempted … I don’t want to hit the “All” button and just move on. We need to watch the budget, but having given such a speech, I still want to go pretty deep.

I am intrigued by the 2 runners from Robertino Diodoro’s midst, Palace Coup #1 owned by Mike Sisk’s M&M Racing, and John Holleman’s Indimaaj #7. They each have their own attributes … the former did not do much running last time out in a similar. That can change this time around with the normal green and white-clad David Cohen in the saddle. I like this angle quite a bit because the gelding by Bernardini clearly has talent. Three races back, he just missed at Keeneland in one of those tough Clm Co. events—and to boot, he was 2nd, despite unruliness in the gate. As for the other red/white/green entry from Diodoro, this 7-yr-old might end up being the race time “fave.” Ramon Vazquez has this assignment, what with Cohen taking the other half of the uncoupled entry. There is much to like about this well-bred son of Tapit. He always shows up to play, and has routed nicely in a couple of attempts already at Oaklawn. Still looking for his 1st win on-track, this could be his moment. Let’s use both of these runners, since they have the moxie, but as I said, others entice too.

Leaving out Brad Cox’s entry, Fan Club #8, is probably not a good plan. Here is a talented colt by Street Sense, owned by the fluor-pink of Gary and Mary West. The power of Cox continues at the Meet, and he has managed this one well. After shipping down to his southern base at Fair Grounds (3rd in MSW45k), he returned to OP with a hammer down in another MSW Co. race. Expert rider, Florent Geroux got the call, and will once again. The class hike is a bit of a concern, but the talent/potential here, from a hot barn, is undeniable. Must use … A few others to think about are Steve Asmussen’s Calibrate #9 (classy), Jerry Hollendorfer’s SoCal-ex Divine Armor #6, and last but not least, Al Cates’ sporty-looking (and sounding), Quarterback Dak #3. Those should give us the opportunity to get us through to the next round …

LEG 2: (Race 9: Dirt, 1 1/16th, Southwest S. (G3), $750k, 3)

Rolling into the KYD148 Points race of the day (10-4-2-1), is one of many highlights at Oaklawn during its Meet. The Southwest is always a fun one, and we all remember last year when it was delayed after the region was socked by ice and a good bit of snow. Cox’s “EQ” won in the end, once the race did make, but this time around we have a much different situation. Talk about tough … that is putting it mildly. There is some really opportunity here, what with the way in which Pat Pope drew this one up. I can tell you right now, I am going to play against Kenny McPeek’s Dash Attack #2, and look elsewhere. I realize the colt by Munnings is undefeated (won Smarty Jones $250k in the slop), but I keep thinking that David Cohen has gotten away with dream trips each time. I am predicting that today will not go his mount’s way. Instead, my top selection is from the excellent barn of John Ortiz. Owned by Wss Racing, Barber Road #8 is going strong, and I know this will be his “graded” coming-out-party. Ricardo Santana is … Ricardo Santana once again … His numbers are looking great, and he has a renewed sense of confidence after a fall slump that seems, all but forgotten. This son of Race Day looks like he is able to get the distance, and already ran nicely @OP—2nd to Dash Attack #2 in the Smarty. I doubt seriously that his price on the tote will be 5/1, but no matter … he is my top play. Since it is another large field, let’s also use the well-drawn Dallas Stewart runner, Ben Diesel #1, the double-digit-priced Kavod #4 out of Chris Hartman’s outfit, the nifty Ron Moquett ace from Remington’s Springboard Mile $400k named Osbourne #6, and finally, a horse trained by someone named Baffert that will be ridden by a jock you might have heard, Johnny Velazquez—Newgrange #10. Each of these makes a ton of sense because they have a hot trainer angle, or are coming off a performance that should have been much better. A mix of prices will keep us in the hunt to cash a nice ticket …

LEG 3: (Race 10: Dirt, 6F, King Cotton S. $150k, 4+)

I have already gone 5x5, and that means we have spent some money. The good news is that I have a very strong opinion in this next spot—the dash called the King Cotton 150k. I am going to steer clear of the returning 1-2 horse combination from last year’s race of Steve Asmussen’s Boldor #8 (1st), and Ron Moquett’s Seven Nation Army #9 (2nd). I am going to stick with Asmussen, and back his celebrated runner that caused quite a stir a year ago named Nashville #6. Everyone was excited to see this sprinter get back to work in December at Oaklawn, and it seemed like the masses were convinced he was ready. I thought Hollis #1, who is drawn-in here, was a much better option, especially since Asmussen’s son of Speightstown needed at least one race under his saddle. I was correct … Florent Geroux had difficulty holding the lead, and one could conclude the fitness just wasn’t there. Now, with some calibration in place, the 5-yr-old is ready to redeploy. He will do well, and even though he will have to contend with Mark Glatt’s invader, Collusion Illusion #4, late in the game … I think he has the gears to get this done. That is why he will be a “Single” for me …

LEG 4: (Race 11: Dirt, 1 1/16th, MSW84k, 3)

The finale … we made it … and what’s in front of us, roadblocking the way to the window? A really challenging MSW Co., one-and-done tourney, for 3-yr-old colts. This will be a no holds barred slugfest, and the field is set at a baker’s dozen (includes an AE #13). Keeping in mind the price of this ticket, I think I can afford to go 4-Deep, and still keep this 50-cent ticket right at an ole’ Sam Grant--$50.00. It is hard to believe that anyone in this race will top Brad Cox’s Quick to Blame #4, once the tote starts flickering late on Saturday. The colt by Blame was solid on debut at Churchill Downs, and then again at Oaklawn back on 18 December. He extended nicely when going longer, and that was over a messy muddy track. Florent Geroux had the call, and will again this afternoon. I like him, but when it comes to a top choice, I am more interested in the budding talent of D. Wayne Lukas’ Ethereal Road #2. The “Coach” has this son of Quality Road working back from a 3rd place result. He did not have the ability to keep up with Cox’s entry that day, but it showed a ton of progression going longer. Quality Road is a sire with strong bloodlines for routing, and unsung Luis Contreras gets the call … an opportunity for him. Let’s use both of these previously mentioned colts, but also include Jerry Hollendorfer’s Life On the Nile #5, and Kenny McPeek’s Mistical Curlin #8. These should be good prices when this race rings the bell, and I like their last performances (@OP / @CD) … great potential. You are going to get a couple of solid riders in Tiago Pereira and David Cohen. That should sufficiently give us options, and some good odds. What a way to end this superb Late Pick 4 ticket … here’s to another profitable afternoon in Hot Springs!

COMMENTS: COLONEL LIAM, the defending champ, is two for two at Gulfstream and at the distance. NEVER SURPRISED should be the speed of the speed. He won his last at Gulfstream in a romp from inside. The question is the outside post. FIELD PASS has 19 furlongs of works since January 2nd, most of which are solid, should be ready and fit. DOSWELL finished in the money four of four at Gulfstream and two of two at the distance.

COMMENTS: KNICKS GO is a year older than LIFE IS GOOD and probably a little faster out of the gate. We will give the nod to KNICKS GO. The danger is they burn fractions that are too fast, which would open the door to a closer and ENDORSED has the most consistently high late numbers in the field. Its a tough call between EMPTY TOMB and SIR WINSTON, the latter looks like he prefers an all-weather surface while ENDORSED likes dirt.
