I'll bet that this colt even surprised his connections when he made his bow on January 22nd and finished first. This colt is in first-rate physical condition right now. Ran first in the last race and comes back soon. This colt's last speed fig is high enough to win here, I'll play him back again this time. MESSIER - Good return on investment for this rider and conditioner tandem. Based on workouts, I look for this colt to run a big race. This horse wins a lot of money per race around the track. I believe he can increase the lifetime bankroll in this event. WHARTON - This colt has higher odds on the morning line than the other entrant from the stable of Baffert. Better beware of this angle. My pick for this race is SUPERIORITY. Should go to the front end and might never look back. The average class rating alone makes this entrant a solid contender. HOLY PINK - This filly could improve with second time Lasix. With one of the most competitive jockeys in terms of dividends at the window, don't count this filly out. EMMA DEVINE - This lot is much easier than the last one she faced.

I'll take my chances with the Nuggets as a 5.5-point home favorite against the Nets on Sunday. Brooklyn is a mess right now. Not only is Durant still out with a knee injury, they are down Joe Harris, LaMarcus Aldridge and Paul Millsap. Probably add Nicolas Claxton to that list, as he left their last game with a hamstring injury. You also got James Harden, who seems to be trying to play his way out of Brooklyn.
Nets have lost 7 straight and will be playing their 5th straight on the road to conclude their west coast trip. I just don't know how much gas Brooklyn will have left in the tank and Denver is not the place you want to be running close to empty on. Nuggets are in much better shape and should avoid looking past this depleted Nets team after dropping their last 3 games, including a shocking upset loss at home to the Pelicans last time out. Give me the Nuggets -5.5!
