NHL | Hurricanes vs Penguins
Play on: Penguins -121 at linepros
Sunday NHL Free play. My selection is on Pittsburgh over Carolina at 1:05 pm et on Sunday.
The Penguins have undoubtedly had this game circled since dropping a 3-2 overtime decision in Carolina just over a week ago (we won with the 'under' in that game). Pittsburgh was penalized in overtime in that one after blowing a third period lead. In fact, Carolina has now taken both meetings between these two teams this season by a single goal after prevailing by a 4-3 score here in Pittsburgh earlier in the season. Here, we'll note that the Pens are a perfect 9-0 when playing at home seeking revenge for a one goal loss against an opponent over the last three seasons, averaging 4.0 goals in that spot while outscoring the opposition by an average margin of 2.2 goals. The Canes enter this game riding a three-game winning streak but the difference between winning and losing has been slim, noting that they've scored a grand total of only 13 goals over their last six games. The Pens are as healthy as they've been all season and I like their chances of getting one back against the Canes this afternoon. Take Pittsburgh.
