      NCAA-B | Indiana vs St. Mary's

      Play on: OVER 126 -110

Thursday CBB Free play. My selection is on the 'over' between Indiana and St. Mary's at 7:20 pm et on Thursday.
This is one of the lowest totals in the opening round and I believe it will prove too low. Indiana is of course coming off a low-scoring 'First Four' win over Wyoming two nights ago. The Hoosiers have been nothing if not consistent offensively in recent weeks, however, noting that they've made good on 26 or more field goals in seven of their last eight games. I'm confident they can find continued offensive success here as I'm a little concerned St. Mary's may have peaked in its massive upset win over Gonzaga on February 26th. Since then, we've seen the Gaels struggle to slow down Santa Clara, yielding 64 field goal attempts and allow Gonzaga to do whatever it wanted, shooting 30-of-52 and scoring 82 points in a revenge game on March 8th. On a positive note for the Gaels, they've hit 25+ field goals in eight of their last nine games and I'm confident they can hang with the Hoosiers here, with a competitive affair likely lending itself to a relatively high-scoring game. While St. Mary's is known for its methodical, clinical approach on offense it has actually gotten off 60+ field goal attempts in six of its last nine games. I actually expect this one to be played at a sneaky-quick pace, helping the final score get 'over' the low total. Take the over.

NCAA-B | Texas Southern vs Kansas

Play on: Texas Southern +21½ -110 at Caesars

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Texas Southern +21.5
The Texas Southern Tigers get to stay in their home state of Texas to face the Kansas Jayhawks in Fort Worth. I think this game will be closer than most expect with the way the Tigers are playing right now. They are 5-0 SU & 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and overcame some early adversity to beat Texas A&M Corpus Christi 76-67 as 3.5-point favorites in the First Four Thursday. The Tigers are battle-tested after opening their season with 11 consecutive road games. They have lost just one game all season by more than 17 points, so they have been competitive. They even upset Florida 69-54 as 24-point road underdogs. The Tigers are 12-2-2 ATS in their last 16 neutral site games. Texas Southern is 9-2 ATS in its last 11 games as an underdog. Kansas is 1-4 ATS in its last five NCAA Tournament games. Give me Texas Southern.

              Play on: OVER 145 -110

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR THURSDAY, 3/17:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Thursday was with Over the Total in the game between the Texas Southern Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks. Texas Southern (19-12) advanced to the Round of 64 with their 76-67 victory against Texas A&M Corpus Christi as a 4-point favorite in the First Four play-in game on Tuesday. The Tigers have played 9 straight Overs after a point spread win. The over is also 33-16-2 in their last 51 games against teams with a winning percentage over 60%. Kansas (28-6) has won nine of eleven after winning the Big 12 Tournament with their 74-65 win against Texas Tech as a 2-point favorite last Saturday. The Jayhawks return to the Big Dance where the Over is 6-1-1 in their last 8 games in the NCAA Tournament. Kansas has also played 4 of their last 5 games Over the Total when playing on a neutral court as a favorite. Take the Over. Best of luck — Frank.
