      NCAA-B | Providence vs Kansas

Play on: Kansas -7 -105 at BetCris

Friday CBB Free play. My selection is on Kansas minus the points over Providence at 7:30 pm et on Friday.
I'll lay the points with the Jayhawks on Friday as they take on Providence. The Jayhawks are peaking at the right time. They've made good on 33, 30, 22, 34 and 27 field goals over their last five games, scoring 74+ points in all five contests. At the same time, Kansas has held the opposition to 21, 19, 23, 27, 19 and 21 made field goals over its last six games, going 5-1 ATS over that stretch. Providence, meanwhile, showed up and showed out against an overmatched Richmond squad in the round of 32, hitting 28 field goals in a 79-51 rout. Keep in mind, the Friars had been held to 20, 20 and 24 made field goals over their previous three games. While they've found plenty of success when limiting opponents to the 50's in terms of FG attempts, they haven't necessarily had the ability to dictate their opposition's pace, and I'm not convinced they'll be able to do so here either. I expect Kansas to force the issue in that regard here, likely getting up into the 60's as far as FG attempts go. Note that the Jayhawks have allowed just 6-of-20 made threes per game away from home this season. If you take away the Friars perimeter game led by Jared Bynum that will obviously go a long way toward securing a convincing win, which is precisely what I'm anticipating the Jayhawks will deliver here. Take Kansas.

Play on: Warriors +3 -110 at SC Consensus

            1* NBA - Warriors/Hawks FREE PICK on Warriors +3
Friday's Free NBA Pick is on the Golden State Warriors as a 3-point road dog against the Hawks. Even without Steph Curry, I want to be on this Golden State team as a dog. Draymond Green called out this team for their lackluster play following a loss at Orlando and they came out the next night and beat the Heat 118-104 as a 10-point dog without Green or Thompson. I expect to see that same fight and energy from this team again tonight and I just don't have a lot of faith in this Hawks team. Bet the Warriors +3!

              NBA | Mavs vs Wolves

Play on: Wolves -3 -110 at circa

              FREE PICK: Minnesota Timberwolve -3
              RATING: 30*
              ROT#: 584
I'll take my chances with the Timberwolves as a 3-point home favorite against the Mavs tonight. Love this spot for Minnesota. They are going to be motivated to play well after losing their last two. Just so happens one of those was a 2-point loss at Dallas on Monday, which should add even more fuel to the fire.
This is also a Timberwolves team that has been playing great basketball for awhile now. Minnesota is 11-2 ATS over their last 13 games. Mavs are trending the other way, going just 1-4 ATS in their last 5.
Only real concern I have is the Timberwolves deciding to sit Karl-Anthony Towns. He's listed as questionable with a forearm injury. However, he's been listed as questionable and still played the last couple of games. Give me the Timberwolves -3!

                NBA | Mavs vs Wolves

Play on: Wolves -3 -110 at linepros

ASA free play on Minnesota Timberwolves -3 over Dallas Mavericks, 8 PM ET - These two teams just met in Dallas the other night with the Mavs winning 110-108 as a 1-point favorite. The natural swing of this line should have the Wolves favored by 5-points here so we’ll grab the value play with Minnesota. The Wolves shot just 40% in that game which is well below their 45.4% season average. Minnesota was just a 2-point home favorite against the Suns but lost their most recent game by 9-points. Dallas has been very good defensively on the season with the 4th best defensive efficiency rating but rank 18th in OEFF. In comparison, the T-Wolves are 6th in OEFF, 11th in DEFF. Minnesota is 24-13 SU at home this season with the 11th best average +/- of +5.4PPG. The last meeting was chippy so expect a revenge minded Timberwolves team to get a big home win here.

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR FRIDAY, 3/25:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Friday was with Under the Total in the Sweet 16 showdown between the Iowa State Cyclones and the Miami (FL) Hurricanes. Iowa State (22-12) advanced to the Sweet 16 with a 54-49 upset win against Wisconsin as a 4-point underdog on Sunday. The Cyclones have played 5 of their last 7 games Under the Total after a point spread win. They have also played 7 of their last 8 games Under the Total against teams with a winning percentage of 60% or higher. Miami (FL) (25-10) has won five of their last six games with their 79-61 win against Auburn as a 6.5-point underdog. The Hurricanes have played 10 of their last 13 games Under the Total after a point spread win. They have also played 8 of their last 11 games Under the Total against teams winning at least 60% of their games. Take the Under. Best of luck — Frank.

The Philadelphia 76ers have a shot at the top seed in the East here down the stretch. They are 1.5 games behind the Miami Heat for the top spot. The Los Angeles Clippers are kind of stuck in no man's land. They are 6 games behind the Timberwolves for the 7th seed and 4.5 games ahead of the Pelicans for the 8th seed. They are pretty much locked into the 8th seed. That explains their poor play of late as the Clippers are 0-4 SU & 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall and coming off a 29-point loss at Utah and a 12-point loss at Denver. The 76ers have won 11 of their last 15 games and are starting to form some chemistry with James Harden. Los Angeles is 0-8 ATS when playing on two days' rest this season. Give me the 76ers.
