My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Thursday was with the Utah Jazz minus the points versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Utah (45-31) has lost five games in a row after their 121-115 loss at Los Angeles against the Clippers on Tuesday. The Jazz return home for the first time since March 18th — and they have covered the point spread in 4 of their last 5 home games after being on the road for at least seven days. They are also 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games at home. Los Angeles (31-44) is in full dumpster fire mode with seven losses in their last nine games and both LeBron James and Anthony Davis out with injuries. The Lakers come off a disinterested 128-110 loss at Dallas on Tuesday — and they have failed to cover the point spread in 20 of their last 29 games after allowing at least 125 points in their last game.
