Not in love with laying a short price on the Pirates? Understandable. Allow me to point one thing out, though. Pittsburgh is home and facing Mike Minor.
Minor has made 13 starts for Cincinnati this season. The Reds are 1-12 in those outings. They've lost 10 in a row when Minor has started. The washed-up southpaw has a 6.31 ERA and 1.51 WHIP. He's surrendered 13 runs in his last 18 innings. He has a 5.19 career ERA against the Pirates in six meetings.
The Pirates play better at home where they are 26-32 compared to 21-41 on the road.
Pittsburgh is starting Zach Thompson. He's nearly as bad as Minor with a 5.51 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. However, Thompson has had success against one team - Cincinnati. He has a 2.14 lifetime ERA in 21 career innings against the Reds, including tossing 11 scoreless innings against them this year.

I like the Toronto Blue Jays to win this game against the New York Yankees on Sunday. The Yankees have lost 3 games in a row now but they have looked really bad over the last few weeks and are in the middle of a huge slump at the moment. Their offense has looked terrible in their games but they are also missing a lot of their key players in the lineup to injury and that has been contributing to this bad offense lately. They were bound to start regressing at some point and now that they are, I don't see them getting any better until their lineup starts getting healthier and they get some players back. Alek Manoah (12-6, 2.71 ERA) is up for the Blue Jays here and he has looked really good all year not giving up many runs in his starts. He hasn't looked great lately but I expect him to bounce back here with a better start since he will be motivated to pitch a good game against the Yankees here, and he has looked good against the Yankees in his starts this year since he hasn't given up many runs to them, and that was when their offense was good and their lineup healthy. Nestor Cortes (9-4, 2.74 ERA) is up for the Yankees here and he also hasn't looked great lately giving up some runs in his starts as of late. The Blue Jays offense has been starting to pick up though and I see them putting up runs on Cortes here like they have been putting up runs all weekend in this series, and I don't see the Yankees hanging in there either with their current offense. I like the Blue Jays to win this game.

Even though Oakland isn't a very good team and struggle to score runs, I can't pass up on the A's at this price with JP Sears on the mound. Sears came over in a trade with the Yankees.
