PLAY ON PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS -3: Two teams in very similar spots, but I think there's value with Portland at 3.5. Both will be on no rest after some pretty big games on Monday. Wizards were at the Warriors (lost 126-135), while the Blazers hosted the Lakers (won 127-115). LA was without LeBron, but dominating in a spot where it would be easy to take the night off, tells me that Portland is pretty locked in and wants to string together some wins before the All-Star break.
Washington is a team I like and have backed a fair amount. However, they are in the much tougher spot having to play both games on the road (Blazers get both at home). They also are missing one of their best players in Kyle Kuzma. Even with him, I would like Portland in this spot. Give me the Blazers -3!
