Their health will be in question all season, but the main core will all be healthy and ready to go here for their season and home opener. This is a very important season for the Clippers, and they will want to get off to a strong start. They have the perfect opportunity here to get off to a strong start against a team that is in major transition. The Trail Blazers finally parted ways with Dame Lillard and this is going to be a major transition year for them. They have some nice players, but it will take some time for them to get on the same page, and it will be strange to see the team take the court without their franchise icon. We actually think the Blazers might be a team with value later in the season as they do have some talent. But there will be some growing pains along the way. And we just feel this is a very important game for the Clippers to get the fans excited and start the season on a positive note, and the fans have grown agitated with the trajectory of this squad the last couple years and their ability to put a quality product on the court on a nighty basis. The Clippers tend to play well against the Blazers and have covered in four of the last five meetings. The one non cover was in the last meeting, with LA winning by nine as a 17- point favorite. We see a double-digit victory in this one.
