I'll take my chances with the Heat only laying 3.5 at home against the Nets. Miami has really turned this thing around after a slow start. Heat are riding a 6-game win streak and have covered in 3 of their last 4. The one they didn't, they won by 6 as a 6.5-point favorite. Brooklyn has been an ATS machine, going 9-1 ATS to start the season. I just think the books have finally started to adjust. Note they were a 6.5-point road dog at Miami back on Nov. 1. They ended up winning outright 109-105, but that also makes me like the Heat more, as they will want revenge. Too much value here with Miami to pass up. Give me the Heat -3.5!

This is a play on the NEBRASKA OMAHA MAVERICKS+1.5 for our Thursday Free Play. William & Mary is expected to finish in the bottom half of the CAA after going 7-11 last season and putting up a 13-20 overall record which actually was not bad considering the Tribe won 12 games combined the previous two seasons. Most of its wins were in home games, as they went 11-5 compared to its away record of 1-14 where they are already 0-1. There is experience on the roster but they are still very young and they have a tough travel spot here going to Colorado Springs in this early season tournament. Nebraska-Omaha finished last in the Summit League last season at 4-14 while going 9-23 overall. The Mavericks were one of the youngest teams in the country and they bring back four starters as well as their top six scorers so the chemistry is there. They are off to a 1-2 start with losses to TCU and North Texas but covered both of those and while those were as big dogs, they take a step down in competition here. This is the most experienced Omaha team in four years and last year was still considered a success after 10 wins the previous two seasons combined and they are only going to get better.
