                      Mike Lundin

Mike Lundin's Chargers/Packers NFL Free Pick

The Los Angeles Chargers (4-5 SU, 3-5-1 ATS) are a road favorite in Green Bay (3-6 SU, 4-5 ATS) here in Week 11, and I think this line is completely out of wack.

Traveling from sunny California to Wisconsin mid-Novemeber is not a pleasant experience, and since the beginning of the 2021 season, the Packera are 6-2 ATS in home games in November or later while the Chargers are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games in November.

Furthermore, the Packers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0.

The Packers are holding opponents to 202.4 passing yards per game (7th) and 6.1 passing yards per attempt (8th), and I think they can contain Justin Herbert who might struggle with the cold and the hostile environment at Lambeau.

                      2* FREE PICK ON THE PACKERS+3.5 -125

                          Dave's Sunday Free Play:

                          1* on Cleveland Browns PK

The Key: The Cleveland Browns want to avenge their 26-22 loss at Pittsburgh in their first matchup this year similar to how they avenged their earlier loss to the Ravens last week. That was one of the most misleading finals of the year as the Browns had 408 total yards compared to just 255 for the Steelers. But the Steelers had 2 defensive touchdowns in that game which was the difference. I think this line has moved to much with the Deshaun Watson news. DTR is going to get the start for the Browns and he was tremendous in the preseason. I know he wasn't good in his lone start this year against the Ravens, but he didn't know he was starting until 2 hours before the game. The Ravens also have one of the best defenses in the NFL. He'll be much more ready for this start preparing all week to be the starter. The Steelers have been doing it with smoke and mirrors this year, getting to 6-3 despite getting outgained in all 9 games this year. They are averaging 283.6 YPG on offense and allowing 378.7 YPG on defense, getting outgained by nearly 100 YPG. Cleveland is outgaining its opponents by nearly 100 YPG and is deserving of its 6-3 record. Pittsburgh's good fortune runs out this week. Take Cleveland.

Sunday NFL Free play. My selection is on Tennessee plus the points over Jacksonville at 1 pm et on Sunday.

While the Jaguars are undoubtedly an improved team in recent years, I'll still look to fade them as a home favorite, as is the case on Sunday against the reeling Titans. Tennessee has dropped back-to-back games SU and ATS but should play with plenty of fire in this divisional matchup on Sunday as it looks to avenge a series sweep at the hands of the Jags last season. Note that the road team has taken three of the last five meetings in this series. Jacksonville checks in a long-term 11-25 ATS in its last 36 home games after giving up 30 or more points in its previous contest, as is the case here. Take Tennessee.

Take #457 New York Giants+10 over Washington Commanders (1p.m., Sunday, November 19 FOX) Just do not believe the Commanders are good enough to be laying this many points against a divisional opponent. The Giants are a terrible team and are starting a guy at quarterback that has not business seeing the field. That being said, they have some talent on this team and already beat Washington once this season for one of their two victories. Ron Rivera is on his way out as head coach in Washington and they are also starting a young quarterback that has been prone to mistakes. Take the points in this NFC East clash. 1 Unit FREE PLAY on Jacksonville Jaguars -6.5 -120

The Jaguars had gone 5-0 SU & 5-0 ATS against a reasonably soft schedule before having to face a pissed off 49ers team coming off a bye. The 49ers humbled them 34-3 last week. The Jaguars needed humbled, and now they'll get back to playing up to their potential which is still probably a Top 10 team in the NFL. It also helps that they get to face a banged-up Titans team that is starting a rookie QB in Will Levis. Levis looked good in beating the Falcons, who are making every QB look good right now. But he came back down to earth the last two weeks when facing decent defenses in the Steelers and Bucs. The Titans were held to just 6 points and 209 total yards by the Bucs last week. It will be more of the same against a very good Jacksonville defense. Derrick Henry won't get anything going against this Jacksonville defense, which gives up only 86 rushing yards per game and 3.8 per carry. That will put even more pressure on Levis, who really only has one reliable weapon on DeAndre Hopkins, and teams have been double-teaming him with success. The Jaguars will be doing the same and should roll to victory by a TD or more. Give me the Jaguars.
