        PURCHASE

        Laurel - Race #7 - Post: 3:27pm - SO - 5.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $40,000 Class Rating: 83

        Rating:

        #2 ROYAL WHISPER (ML=15/1)
        #10 KINGDOM QUEEN (ML=5/1)
        #3 ANONYMOUSLY (ML=7/2)

ROYAL WHISPER - This rider and handler have a profitable return on investment when they unite. Ranked at the top in earnings per race entered. Another notice that this horse is the class of the race. KINGDOM QUEEN - This filly is in good condition, having run a strong race on Nov 8th, finishing first. This horse has shown the ability to win at multiple tracks. Making the move from Penn National for today's event, I have to believe she's ready to run. This filly's last rating earned on November 8th is uppermost in last race speed figures. ANONYMOUSLY - Won her last after shipping in. I like her again. This mare is entered right back into a race in less than 10 days; this is a positive sign. Have to make this mare a contender; she comes off a sharp outing on November 18th. This horse's record for this distance is great.

Vulnerable Contenders: #9 MY FLICKER (ML=2/1), #8 OUR LIBERTY BELLE (ML=6/1),

MY FLICKER - The Brain tells me to keep away from horses in short distance contests that haven't finished in the money in sprint races recently. OUR LIBERTY BELLE - This equine hasn't been in the money in either of her last couple of efforts.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Bet on #2 ROYAL WHISPER to win if we can get at least 4/1 odds
        EXACTA WAGERS: Box [2,3,10]

        TRIFECTA WAGERS:
        Box [2,3,10] Total Cost: $6

          Race 9 - Trial - 400y on the Dirt. Purse: $8000 Class Rating: 90

QUARTER HORSE 400Y, FOR THREE YEAR OLDS. WEIGHT: 126, LBS. HORSES WHICH QUALIFY TO THE FINALS OF THIS RACE MUST REMAIN ON THE GROUNDS UNTIL 48 HOURS AFTER THE FINALS HAVE RUN.

          RECOMMENDED CHOICES
          # 2 GOOD WAGON SA 2/1
          # 1 AINT HE TEMPTING 9/2
          # 4 FUTURE VERSION 4/1
GOOD WAGON SA is the most respectable wager in this race. Overall the Equibase Speed Figures of this equine look very good in this race. I like Peinado on this gelding to give him a respectable chance to hit the wire first. With a very good 98 speed figure last time out, will surely be a factor in this affair. AINT HE TEMPTING - He looks very strong in this spot and I expect will be on the lead or close at the halfway point. Should be carefully examined for this event if only for the very strong speed fig put up in the last affair. FUTURE VERSION - This jockey and handler team has produced some sharp return on investment numbers at this track. The winning percentage shown by horses entered by Flores running at this distance are the top in this group.

Race 1 - Maiden Claiming - 8.0f on the Dirt. Purse: $6500 Class Rating: 55

FOR MAIDENS, FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. THREE YEAR OLDS, 119 LBS.; OLDER, 122 LBS. 2# A CLASF.$8,000 ALLOWED 2 LBS. 4# A CLASF. INFERIOR Y DEBTS ALLOWED 4 LBS. CLAIMING PRICE $8,000.

            RECOMMENDED CHOICES
            # 2 GHOST FORCE 2/1
            # 3 ALICIA EMILIA 20/1
            # 4 PICK ONE REMI 5/2
GHOST FORCE looks to be a very good contender. Has very good speed figures and has to be considered for a bet in here. Solid jockey and conditioner combo winning 24 percent of their races working together. PICK ONE REMI - I like the jockey on this mare - quite good chance to win the contest.

              Del Mar - Race #5 - Post: 2:25pm - Optional Claiming - 5.0 furlongs on the Turf. Purse: $63,000 Class Rating: 103

              Rating:

              #5 KING APOLLO (ML=5/1)
              #4 PRINCE LANCELOT (GB) (ML=12/1)
              #9 CANE CREEK ROAD (ML=4/1)
              #7 MISTER ICEMAN (ML=7/2)
              #8 INCH (ML=6/1)

KING APOLLO - This gelding should be at the peak of fitness, this far into his form cycle. Look for this one to go straight to the winner's circle at some respectable odds in this race. Ran seventh in last race, but not more than 5 from the lead at the finish line. PRINCE LANCELOT (GB) - I'm focusing on the class of this mount, and this one is the 'classiest' of the bunch. In this race here, this thoroughbred has clearly shown signs that he likes the turf. His speed figures are the highest in the field for this distance/surface. This gelding has run well at major foreign tracks, and ships in for today's race. Could be tough to beat. CANE CREEK ROAD - I think the shorter distance will help this gelding stay the trip. May be extremely hard to beat this mount on the grass today. Last out scored a nice turf number, the highest of any of these animals. You have to like that most recent race speed rating, 108, which is the highest latest race speed figure of this field. Ran a fast time for the last quarter on October 15th at Santa Anita. Anything close right here should get the job done. MISTER ICEMAN - Have to give this gelding a shot. Ran a solid effort in the last race within the last month or so. Ran a speedy time for the last quarter on November 5th at Santa Anita. Anything close right here in this race should get the job done. INCH - Had a dominant closing move in the last race, running the last quarter in less than 25 seconds. A similar effort today, and it's straight to the winner's circle.

              Vulnerable Contenders: #3 SAWASDEE (ML=5/1), #10 SILARDI (ML=6/1), #6 PAT'S PADDOCK PICK (ML=8/1),

SAWASDEE - He's in all probability going to get cooked on the front end. Garnered a mediocre speed figure last time around the track in a $40,000 Optional Claiming race on Sep 10th. Not likely to see an improved performance off of that fig. SILARDI - Pace makes the race. Tough for this speedball to be able to manage the suicidal fractions from the rest of this bunch. PAT'S PADDOCK PICK - Probably hasn't had enough racing experience to beat the veterans today.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Go with #5 KING APOLLO on top if we're getting at least 5/1 odds
              EXACTA WAGERS: Box [4,5]

              TRIFECTA WAGERS:

                  Mountaineer Park - Race #1 - Post: 7:00pm - Maiden Claiming - 5.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $7,700 Class Rating: 58

                  Rating:

                  #8 CANTHO (ML=8/1)
                  #2 WORK N FLIRT (ML=5/2)

CANTHO - Great chance for this pony. Solid late speed and should have good position. This jock and conditioner's equines have been generating a profitable return on investment. The November 10th event at Woodbine was at a class level of (63). Dropping down the ladder based on class rating points significantly, so she should be in a good place. This filly should be in top form, this far into her form cycle. WORK N FLIRT - Taking a class drop in class rating points from her November 19th race at Mountaineer Park. Based on that data point, I will give this thoroughbred the advantage. Trainer, Silva, has been deliberate with this filly off the layoff. Look for a solid effort today.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 WHISPER ME A SONG (ML=3/1), #5 LEAPIN LEVA (ML=6/1), #7 WANT TO GO DANCING (ML=6/1),

WHISPER ME A SONG - 57/51/43, are the lessening Equibase speed figs for this runner. Finished second in her most recent race with a run-of-the-mill speed rating. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this bunch. LEAPIN LEVA - Don't feel this mount will make an impact today. That last speed rating was mediocre when compared with today's class rating. WANT TO GO DANCING - Didn't end up on the board on October 12th at Woodbine. Followed it up with another lackluster try. This mare earned a speed rating in her last event which probably isn't good enough today.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Have to go with #8 CANTHO on the win end if we get at least 3/1 odds
                  EXACTA WAGERS: Box [2,8]

QUARTER HORSE 870Y, FOR REGISTERED NEW MEXICO BRED THREE, FOUR, AND FIVE YEAR OLDS WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. THREE YEAR OLDS, 126 LBS.; OLDER, 128 LBS.

                    # 2 HYNSON 9/5
                    # 3 BREAKIN THE RULZ 8/1
I like FS MAXX VELOCITY here. Honesto has him trained soundly to break speedily out of the starting gate. Posted a very strong speed figure last time out. HYNSON - Will probably be one of the leaders of the pack going into the halfway point of the outing. Ran a sharp last race. BREAKIN THE RULZ - Has run admirably when racing a longer quarter horse race.

                      # 10 A THREAD OF BLUE 6/1
CANADIAN PHAROAH is the best bet in this race. Should be given a shot based on the very strong speed figure recorded in the last outing. Has performed well as of late in route races, posting a nifty 89 avg speed rating. CUPID'S CLAWS - With a nice Equibase class figure average of 100, has one of the strongest class advantages in this group. Strong rider with conditioner figures make this horse a strong selection. A THREAD OF BLUE - Could provide positive profits based on very good recent speed figures with an average of 92. Has a strong shot in this competition if you like back class.

                        Rating:

                        #6 CHUCK WILLIS (IRE) (ML=9/2)

CHUCK WILLIS (IRE) - Jockey hops back aboard after getting to know the horse by riding last time around the track. That's always a good indicator. This thoroughbred coming off a sharp contest in the last month or so is a solid contender in my book. I think this gelding is ready to run a good one. He's had enough races since the layoff and should be fit.

                        Vulnerable Contenders: #4 HEIR PORT (ML=8/5), #2 PRINCE JAMES (ML=5/2), #3 AEQUOR (ML=4/1),

HEIR PORT - Tough to play any racer in a short distance race at 8/5 when he hasn't shown any successful endeavors in sprints in the last two months. I usually try to beat these types of chalks off the long layoff. Improbable that the speed figure he earned on July 14th will be good enough in this affair. PRINCE JAMES - I cannot play this frequent non-winner. Gets the job executed from time to time. Don't feel this horse will make a winning move today. That last speed rating was disappointing when compared with today's class figure. AEQUOR - This gelding finished outside the top 3 on Sep 15th and wasn't near the winner in the last race either.

GUEST COMMENTARY: Winston - CHUCK WILLIS (IRE) - Put a bet on this gelding. Tops in earnings per start and has a lot more to offer as well.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Go with #6 CHUCK WILLIS (IRE) on top if we're getting at least 1/1 odds

ART OF FIRE will have you running to the cashier's window in this contest. Win stat for this driver-handler is a sparkling 24 percent - tremendous likelihood. BARRYS SHELBY - Coulter and Gassien have a competitive working relationship. Terrific results from their races. SPORTS NATION - Many race players know speed is is key. This entrant has credentials with a 69 avg rating. This standardbred looks tough considering the high class ratings. Not a good idea to throw out of any exotics.
