S S MIRAGE - Change in Lasix (with second time Lasix) may be the key to a turnaround. Some very good numbers have been posted by this trainer's horses racing at this distance and surface. DERBY GIFT - I certainly see positive things for this magnificent animal right here. LADY PROSPECT - Like the way this filly's finish positions keep getting better. That's a sure sign of improving form. Sprinters that come back to the races quickly are generally good plays. Jockey and conditioner do well when they combine forces. Gomez and Ness have been reliable together. That was a solid win last time out. In my opinion has a good chance to repeat today. This animal has increased her speed figs in each of the last 2 races. That kind of progress is worth taking notice of.

SMALL SAILOR - This gelding is in good physical condition, having run a nice race on November 13th, finishing first. WARRIOR'S PLACE - Have to make this gelding a win candidate; he comes off a solid contest on Oct 31st. When a horse drops at least 5 pounds (like this one is), you must take notice. It may not seem like much, but should make the difference. COMMANDER COMPTON - This jock and conditioner are reliable together. Winning percentage when teamed up is tough to best. I like this gelding. Has the highest earnings per race entered in this contest.
